Will the Curt trailer hitch C11701 fit the 2008 MB E63 AMG wagon? Thank you.

Curt trailer hitch # C11701 is listed as a fit for your 2008 Mercedes E-series wagon. If you plan on doing some towing the correct ball mount is # C45017. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19256 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258. For trailer wiring you will need to visit a local Mercedes dealer since there are no aftermarket harnesses that will fit.

If you want to use the hitch for an accessory such as a bike rack or cargo carrier then you have to make sure the accessory is rated for use with a Class I trailer hitch. Also, with a bike rack, you are limited to 2 bikes maximum on a Class I hitch.

Curt also says you have to use stabilization strap # 18050 when using this hitch for any non-trailer load (such as a bike rack or car go carrier) per their warranty requirements.
