Will Yakima HullRaiser Kayak Carrier Fit Erickson Truck Bed Ladder Rack Crossbars On 2009 Ford F-150

Question:

I already have Yakima Hullraiser kayak accessories for my two kayaks that I used on a previously owned vehicle. Now I have a short-bed 2009 Ford F-150. Will my Yakima Accessories fit on the round bars on the # EM07706 ladder rack? The whole reason I want a ladder rack is to transport my two kayaks more easily in the short-bed truck and I would like to use my kayak accessories, since I have already invested money in them. Thanks for any insight!

The crossbar dimension for the Erickson Truck Bed Ladder Rack, part # EM07706 measures 1.8 inches diameter.

The Yakima HullRaiser, part Y04039 is designed to fit round crossbars up to 1-1/8 inches diameter, and would not fit the # EM07706 crossbars.

I recommend a ladder rack like the Yakima Outdoorsman 300 Ladder Rack, part # Y01136-Y00410. The uprights on this ladder rack clamp onto the bed rails of your truck and accept the Yakima accessories like the HullRaiser.
