Question:
What is the difference between the Tekonsha Prodigy 90185 and the Prodigy 90885 P2 brake controllers? Except for mounting angle 70 deg. vs. 360 deg., they appear to be the same. Tekonsha website does not list model 90185. Thanks,

There are 3 major differences between the discontinued Prodigy and the Prodigy P2, part # 90885, brake controllers. The LED display is blue on the P2, and red on the Prodigy.
Another difference is that the mounting of the controllers. The P2 can be mounted at any angle, a full 360 degrees vertical, and the Prodigy needs to be between 0 degrees (level), and 70 degrees vertically. The third difference is that the P2 can be used with electric over hydraulic systems, while the Prodigy can be used with electric brakes only.
Both controllers will work on trailers with up to 8 brake assemblies.
