Trailer Wiring Harness Shows No Power on a 2003 Ford Windstar

Question:
Hi, If the wiring harness is installed opposite as the video, meaning the power box ends up on the drivers side instead of the passenger side, would that effect how the wiring harness works? AND.... all the lights are working tail, right, left BUT the trailer connector isnt working with the tester light lighting up on the piggy back.

As long as you have the connectors with the green wire plugged into the passengers side and the one with the yellow wire plugged into the drivers side on your 2003 Ford Windstar then it would not matter where the black converter box ends up.
You will need to make sure that the white ground wire is attached to a clean bare metal surface with no paint or coating between the ring terminal and the metal surface. Also make sure that the power wire is attached to the positive battery terminal and that the fuse has been inserted.
