2012 Audi A6 Trunk Liner Removal for Trailer Wiring Install
Published 06/02/2015 >
Question:
hello, I purchased the curt hitch and C56201KIT for wiring and started to scope out the job. The left side wiring looks pretty accessible but the right side is completely encased in liner. There are no visible screws anywhere or entry points anywhere. Before I start prying on the liner edges, I thought Id tap the experts for access tips to the tail light wiring area. Thanks in advance

From the research I did on your 2012 Audi A6 it looks like to remove the trunk liner you will need to remove the warning triangle that is in your trunk and then remove the screw that holds the emergency release handle in place.
There are 10 panel clips that hold the trim panel in place. You can use a panel removal or gently pull on the panel to get it to remove.
