I have a suspension enhancement solution for your 1998 Dodge Ram 3500 dually, but the two Firestone Ride-Rite Air Spring kit that we offer for your 1998 Dodge Ram 3500, # F2071, will most likely interfere with the frame brackets of your gooseneck hitch. This kit mounts on the outboard side of the frame rails just above the axles and most gooseneck hitches have frame brackets that mount on the outboard side of the frame.
If your gooseneck hitch does not use frame brackets that mount to the outboard side of the frame, then you are good to go. Keep in mind, this kit requires at least 7.5 inches of space between the frame and tire to fit.
The compressor kit is sold separately. I recommend installing the Level Command with Heavy-Duty Compressor, # F2097, because we found that the heavy-duty compressor holds up the best to constant use.
If your gooseneck hitch mounts on the outboard side of the frame, then the Firestone brackets will have to be stacked on the gooseneck hitch and you will have to drill through the gooseneck hitch frame brackets. This will likely void the warranty of the gooseneck hitch if you still have one and Firestone does not recommend stacking their brackets on top of other brackets.
For this situation, I recommend installing a rubber spring like the Timbren Suspension Springs, # TDR3500B for 2WD models or # TDR3500 for 4WD models.
