If Not Using a Brake Controller Does it Have to be Removed

Question:
I bought a used truck which has the draw title activator II under dash. Since I do not have a trailer should I have the. Activator removed? Or is it fine to just keep it there? Thanks

If you won't be using the brake controller you can remove it if you want to. Or you can keep it there in case you ever tow anything with electric brakes. It will be perfectly fine either way.
