Question:
Can you send me step by step instructions for replacing the cam lever. I have the new part, just need to know where to attach it.

I spoke to my contact at Thule and she informed me that the Cam Lever part # 853-3506 that you referenced has a barrel nut that runs down the middle of it and a bolt secures the lever to the wheel tray.
So basically you will need to remove the bolt from the current cam lever so that the lever will remove from your rack, remove the barrel nut from the lever, install it in the new lever, and then run the bolt through new lever securing it to the wheel tray.
