Powered Fan Shroud Recommendation for a 1956 Chevy Truck 454 Big Block

Question:
I have subject truck. I recently added AC Vintage Air and now in traffic it is getting up and over 217F On the hwy with Ambient Temp 82 F it runs at 203F It is a belt driven flex fan. Oh yeah I like in Dallas TX Hotter than H I swear I only have about 3 inches of clearance. Any ideas.

If you can fit the Derale 26" Dual High-Output, Electric Radiator Fan-and-Shroud Assembly # D16927 on your 1956 Chevy Truck it would work well and would help keep your engine temps down significantly. This fan can flow 4,000 cfm which would be a considerably higher amount than what you current flex fan is pulling. You will also free up a bit of horsepower by going with an electric fan as well.
