Question:
I have a 2012 GMC Savanna Extended Cargo Van, does it take the same class IV hitch as the std. length cargo van ?

Yes, the frames of the vehicles are the same at the rear of a 2012 GMC Savana Van standard and extended length so the Class IV hitches like the part # 14090 would fit just fine.
