Question:
Hi I own a yakima fat cat 6 ski rack that i bought about 4 or 5 years ago. The mounting bracket we currently use is part #Y8860048. I drive a Nissan Rouge that did not come with any roof rack so I added the Yakima Q Towers 4 pack system. Is it possible to use this new mounting bracket part #Y8860081 for the type of cross bars and ski rack that I have? In addition my husband has a 2012 Subaru Outback with factory crossbars. Will part Y8860081 work for his car as well?

You should not need to replace the feet on your Yakima Ski Rack. The feet that are on it, # Y8860048, are compatible with the Yakima round bars as well as the factory crossbars on your husband's 2012 Subaru Outback. So you will not have to change anything if the ski carrier is using # Y8860048.
