Will Engine Oil Cooler D15451 Fit a 2003 Toyota Tacoma V6
Updated 04/07/2010 | Published 04/05/2010 >
Question:
Your specs on the D15451 say it works with oil filters with a gasket diameter 2-1/2, 2-3/4, and 3-1/2. This may be nitpicking, but would this work for a 2003 Toyota Tacoma 5VZ-FE, V6 engine? the Tacoma uses a PH3614 filter, which from what I can research online, looks like a 2-5/8 o-ring. Will the filter work in between the sizes listed, or should I look for another oil cooler? any advice would be appreciated Thanks in advance.

I checked with my contact at Derale, and the # D15451 engine oil cooler will actually work with O-ring diameters in the 2-1/2 inch to 3-1/2 inch range.
Since your O-ring diameter is 2-5/8 inches this cooler would work really well for your 2003 Toyota Tacoma.
