Your video shows tail lights and license plate covered by cargo carrier bag. What about that?

In instances when the tail lights are obscured by anything placed on the carrier, we recommend using a light kit. We offer part # 20174 which works with several of our most popular cargo carriers such as part # 40101, #59502, #59507, #63153 and #63155. We also offer light kit part # 52014 which works with cargo carriers like part # 52017 and # 52018.
As far as the license plate goes, a bracket and light combo like part # LPL55CB could be used. The light could be wired into the running light circuit on the light kit (brown wire). Since the light receives its ground connection from the attachment to the carrier, I would recommend running a wire from the connection point at the carrier to the white ground wire on the light kit to ensure a reliable ground connection. As I do not know which cargo carrier you are using, I cannot make any specific recommendations for attaching the license plate bracket to the carrier.
