I am going buy all my blue ox tow bar from you and base plate, blue ox braking system. can you send me you tube. on how to install base plate. For 2015 kia soul.

We have the correct Blue Ox base plate kit you would need for your 2015 Kia Soul, part # BX2726. I attached a link to a great set of installation instructions that will detail the entire process, but we haven't had the chance to make an install video yet.

In addition to the base plates, you will also need a compatible tow bar, safety cables, lighting, and supplemental braking to flat tow your vehicle. The most popular compatible tow bar is the Blue Ox Alpha part # BX7380. This comes with safety cables. The coiled design helps keep the cables off of the ground.

For lighting you can use the bulb and socket kit, # RM-155, and not have to worry about cutting and splicing into the vehicle wiring.

And finally, most states now require supplemental braking in the vehicle being flat towed. The easiest system to set up and use is the Patriot # BLU37TR, that applies the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the tow vehicle is braking. This is the safest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles.
