RodBuckle Rod Tie Downs Strap Material

Question:
Just received my tie downs today, the description on the website said seat-belt-quality webbing with pvc coating.The strap looks to be made of pvc not sure what the difference is .

Underneath the PVC coating is seatbelt quality, polyester webbing. The PVC coating is used to prevent fish hooks from snagging on the straps.
