Can an Edge Programmer be Left in the Highest Tune Setting

Question:
I have an edge programmer for my Ford F-150 and its currently on extreme stage 3 I just want to know if its bad if I leave it at that leave for a long time? My friend said its bad but I dont know if he really knows about programmers can you help me thanks.

As long as you are meeting the fuel octane requirements that the Edge Programmer part # EP59YR has you can leave it in the highest setting as long as you want, and it won't damage anything.
