Question:
I wired this up to my factory radiator fan on. 99 jeep grand cherokee 4.0 liter. The fan comes on but only for a few seconds then shuts off with the relay still engaged. This is a multi speed fan does it pull too many amps or is it not working because it being multi speed? Can you give me some single speed fan options that will work as a primary fan puller under 20 amps. At least 2300 cfm.

Sounds like you factory fan draws too much amperage to function properly with the # D16749.
The # D16749 has a maximum capacity of 25 amps, so as long as you get a replacement fan that draws less than that you would be fine. For a fan that draws less than that and can flow up to 2,400 CFM you would want the # D18217.
The high speed power draw is 23.5 amps and the low speed draw is 17.4 amps.
