The most popular hitch we sell that has been confirmed to fit your 1999 Ford F-150 with a standard 6 foot bed is the Curt Hitch part # C14355. This is a great hitch with plenty of capacity that would work well for you. Check out the install video I attached for more info.
For 4-way trailer wiring you would want part # 18252. To convert it to a 7-way you would only need part # 37185.
