Troubleshooting Honda Ridgeline Blinkers that Stop Working when Brakes are Applied
Published 12/15/2014 >
Question:
2014 Honda Ridgeline, all system was working after I installed. Rented trailer all lights worked. Few days after trailer returned, noticed truck signal lights go off when brakes applied. Checked ground, found bit loose, reconnected to clean steel on frame. Still have problem, both turn signals on dash cluster stay lit when foot on brakes as if burned out bulb would do? Kit# 43125

Typically when this issue arises on a Honda Ridgeline the issue is that the "small lights" fuse under the hood is blown.
This may or may not have been related to the trailer wiring you installed.
