There is only a slight difference between 205/70-15 tires and 205/75-15 tires.
A 205/70-15 will be 8 inches wide and 26.3 inches tall.
A 205/75-15 will be 8 inches wide and 27.3 inches tall. As long as there is more than 1/2 an inch of clearance above the existing tires you can switch to the 205/75-15 tire size.
We have a few tires in this size:
Tire # AM1ST92 is a load range C bias ply tire rated for 1,820 pounds at 50 psi.
Tire # AM10244 is also a load range C tire rated for 1,820 pounds at 50 psi but it is a radial.
Tire # AM10245 is a load range D tire rated for 2,150 pounds at 65 psi.
Taskmaster tire and wheel combo # TA53VR is a load range C rated for 1,820 pounds at 50 psi and comes mounted on a 15x5 inch white mod wheel with 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern.
I have included a link to all of the 205/75-15 tires and tire and wheel combos for you to view. Please note that going to a higher capacity tire does not increase the capacity of the trailer.
