Hello neighbors. I'm Steven here at etrailer.com. Today we're looking at this etrailer Hitch and Coupler Lock Set. It works with either two inch or 2 1/2 inch hitches. And it is made for a 2 5/16 inch ball only. Now, this is a three piece lock set.

I'm gonna throw some information up there on the screen as far as what it fits. Now, this will secure your towing setup. So the coupler lock is gonna fit over your coupler while it's not connected, that way it's gonna prevent anyone from towing it away or stealing it, that kind of thing. It will also prevent a trailer ball from being inserted into your coupler as well. Now it's a very simple, easy, quarter-turn lock activation.

Let me go ahead and zoom in, and I'll show you that one. So a very simple design. You got a pin up here. You can see the pin in here. Right now it's locked so that pin can't come out.

Simply insert the key, turn it, and that lets that pin move freely. And then you can get your coupler in there, lock it, and then you're ready to go. So again, very simple operation, very simple lock, but it works. Now, it is an adjustable lock with five locking positions. It will fit a wide variety of coupler latch sizes and sleeve lock couplers, like the information I had on the screen a minute ago.

And also the hitch lock itself will secure the ball mount to your trailer hitch. So there's one here for the hitch lock. Very simple, take off the protective dust cover, insert the key. The key is actually gonna kind of work like a tool, if you will. So you simply have the key in there and then you can spin or unlock this other side, and that will just simply thread off. And that's how you get that off. Then to put it back on, same concept. Turn the key, get it back on there snug, just has to be snug. Put the dust cover back on. Very simple operation. Again, that's the hitch lock. As far as the coupler lock, you can tell it's a lot thinner here 'cause it's gonna go through that small hole in your coupler. Same concept. Simply insert the key and just simply spin it off. Again, just like you're using like a screwdriver or a ratchet wrench or something of that nature. But you just spin it off, it'll come all the way off. This one's got longer threads. There you go. And then the same thing, put it through the coupler latch when you're ready to lock it. Spin it back on. There we go. And same thing, once you lock it, pop the dust cover back on. So again, two different sizes, one for the coupler lock and one for the hitch. Now, they do have rubber ends like I showed you, that just basically keeps water out and everything. It also gives you a nice grip to hold onto whenever you're using them and whatnot. They're very durable, nice construction that's corrosion resistant. It's got that chrome plated steel. That's gonna help you resist corrosion and stuff. It's very, very heavy duty. It's rust proof. There's a tempered aluminum with silver powder coat finish on the main coupler lock here itself. And you do get two keys with this. Now one thing to note, when you get this kit, write down this key number, take a photo, something. Make sure you write down that key number. If you ever lose those keys, that's the only way we're gonna be able to match up a key for you. Now also note that you cannot purchase multiple sets of these and ask us to key them alike. They come random on purpose. That's for safety and security. So again, you can't order three of them. You're not gonna get three exactly the same keys. So unfortunately that's just what we have to do for safety and security. They are made here in the USA. It also comes with a nice hard plastic heavy duty case. It's got the etrailer logo on there. And it'll hold everything in here nice and secure. So you can kind of see it's molded there to fit everything. And the coupler lock goes in this way. Keys will fit here. This little guy can go here, and then the hitch lock there. So again, very nice, robust case, molded plastic. Everything fits in there nice, secure, perfect. You're ready to go. It's got a nice handle. It's even got a little spot there where you can lock it. Keep in mind it is plastic, so obviously if someone wants inside of here and you have that locked, they'll get inside eventually. But again, we're just keeping honest people honest, right Well folks, that's gonna do it for our look at this etrailer brand Hitch and Coupler Lock Set.
