This shower pan will replace your old, cracking pan to complete your shower setup so you can rinse off mud, sand, and sweat after a fun day of hiking and swimming. You can put a bar of soap, a shampoo bottle, a razor, and other toiletries on the flat outer ledge and be able to grab them quickly while you're showering. When rinsing off the soap, the textured floor will help prevent you from slipping and falling, and the 3-sided tile flange will help prevent water from being splashed behind the shower pan and causing water damage to the wall.
This shower pan easily replaces or upgrades your existing RV shower pan or bathtub with a left-hand side drain hole setup. Mounting hardware is not included. After the floor or pedestal has been cleaned of debris, set the shower pan in place, making sure the pre-installed foam base is sitting securely and evenly. This foam base supports the shower pan so it won't crack over time, and it'll dampen the sound of water hitting the pan floor or when you accidentally drop a bar of soap or shampoo bottle. Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a look at this Better Bath parchment RV shower pan with left hand drain. Now, if you are looking to replace or upgrade the shower pan in your RV's or your camper's bathroom, this might be just what you are looking for. This pan is going to fit your left hand side drain hole setups. And the three sided tile flange is going to help prevent water from seeping behind this pan and possibly damaging the wall in the bathroom of your RV or your camper.
And at the bottom here, we have a pre-installed half inch thick foam base that's going to provide support to prevent the shower pan from cracking, but it's also going to dampen the sound of such things as when you accidentally drop a bar of soap while you're showering or would be when you drop a bottle of shampoo, that foam pad underneath is going to cushion and dampen that sound. Now this textured anti-slip floor on this RV shower pan is going to give you better traction while showering. I realized you probably can't really see the texture, but it's a nice, subtle texture here on the floor that I feel is going to give you confidence in stepping on here with your bare feet, especially when this is wet, and it's gonna be just comfortable enough and just enough of a grip to help you stand in here confidently. It's not sharp, it's not rough. So it's gonna be very, very comfortable while you're standing on this.
So that's a great feature of this particular pan. This also has a flat outer ledge that's going to hold your soap and your shampoo and other toiletries so you can quick quickly grab them while showering. Now, this is made in the USA of a durable, scratch-resistant ABS thermoplastic polymer construction with this parchment finish. Hopefully that color is coming over the camera well enough. It's kind of a, what I would call maybe like a beige color.
So that's what that "parchment" is describing. And this is gonna be lighter and more environmentally friendly than fiberglass. And indeed this is light. It's very easy to handle, but it's also, it feels very durable as well. This is gonna be an easy bolt-on installation.
I do wanna point out that this does not come with any hardware; you're simply going to get this pan. So if you don't have the compatible hardware, that would be a separate purchase for you. This is IAPMO certified, CSA compliant, and ASME certified. Let me go ahead and give you some overall dimensions to help you determine if this is going to work for your bathroom in your RV or camper. Beginning with the exterior dimensions, the overall length of the exterior, we're sitting right at 40 inches, and the overall width, we are sitting right at 24 inches wide. And then that depth, we are sitting right at, right at about five and a quarter inches deep. And then looking at the interior dimensions, and line this up here for you. We are gonna be sitting right at. Probably can't see that too well from that angle, but I am measuring right at 36 inches long on the interior and right at 18 and a half inches wide, and then looks like we're sitting pretty close to about two and a half inches deep overall. The drain hole diameter is two inches, and the distance from the drain hole, the distance of the drain hole, rather, from the closest edge is right about four and a half inches. And again, this is in that parchment color. And if maybe this is not the color you're looking for, we also carry this in white as well.
