Now, this five gallon per minute flow rate funnel is ideal for agricultural, industrial, marine, and recreational applications. This funnel has a built in filter that cleans fuel and traps contaminants before they can enter your engine. It helps eliminate dirt and water from stored fuel, which can cause corrosive acids, electrolysis, rust, and more. It reduces contaminants that can plug filters, corrodes components, decrease efficient combustion, and cause engine shutdown or system failure. It will protect your engine when used every time you transfer fuel to your tank, and it collects deflected water and debris in the sump area, so it can be disposed of properly.
The non-conductive plastic construction prevents static buildup, and this is for use with gasoline, diesel, heating oil, and kerosene. Again, the flow rate is five gallons per minute, and just some brief measurements here, the overall height of this funnel, if I can get my ruler set the correct way, is gonna be sitting right at 10 inches tall, and then the width of the funnel or the diameter of the funnel, we're gonna be sitting right at 8 1/2 inches across, and if you're wondering about the bottom diameter of this funnel, we're gonna be sitting right at 3/4 of an inch. This hand-held fuel filter is very useful and easy to use. Fuel flows through it very quickly from a gas can or a gas pump nozzle. It really does prevent water and contaminants from getting in your fuel tanks and damaging your equipment (mowers, generators, motorcycles, torpedo heaters etc.) or causing unexpected fuel delivery issues.

I think this works very well. It does not require cleaning and seems to do a good job of filtering out the stuff the filters at the pump do not catch. One thing for sure - etrailer has THE BEST price on this item anywhere!
I do not put gas in anything I own without this fuel filter. It is so easy to overlook small particles of dirt and debris on any gas can you own. This filter eliminates anything from getting into your machine's gas tank. Excellent product.
