Enjoy a classic, warmer glow with Optronics RV exterior lights in incandescent light for porches and entry steps. A solid pick when you want to keep the original look on your camper. For an easy swap, confirm your mounting hole spacing and the bulb type on your current fixture before you install.
Incandescent filaments can be brittle, so LED often holds up better to vibration. If you see flicker, check for a loose ground or wire connections, and verify the light is getting a full 12 volts with a multimeter. Make sure the lens is fully seated so it doesn't work loose.
These typically use a 1141 bulb. If you ever decide to switch, there are LED 1141 options that fit the same socket. To replace the bulb, check for lens tabs and gently pry at the sides to avoid breaking the tabs, then snap the lens back in place.
Confirm the wiring connector location and switch orientation match your camper. If they don't, reroute the wires and flip the switch as needed. Recrimp the ground (white) wire if the connection isn't solid, and silicone all body contact holes to seal things up. Test the light before final fastening.
