Yakima DeepSpace 10 Rooftop Cargo Box - 10 cu ft - Black
Great solution for over the short bed on my Rivian R1T where my old roof box wouldn’t fit. The rectangular shape makes the most of the short length. I could likely fit two side by side over the bed if needed. Installation was fairly easy. I do wish the clamps were engineered to go on and off more easily. At each corner it requires two thumb screws on very long studs that come from underneath and then through a top plate, so 4 loose parts per corner have to come off to remove it. The build quality is fairly good but I guess I expected better for the price. Even the Yakima stickers are misaligned on the outside. It also says in the instructions that it comes with straps to hold down items in the box, but there were no straps included with mine. Overall it will definitely get the job done and a perfect fit over my truck bed, with only minor quibbles.
It's just flimsy and the way the bolts come up from the bottom, on narrower square bars the bolts protrude into the storage area and will not allow you to lay anything flat - without suffering scratches. They make rubber caps for this but that's not a solution. The bolts need to be trimmed to fit. For the price, you'd think they'd provide different sizes to have better fitment. It serves it's purpose and was the biggest over truck bed box I could find - i really wish there were more sturdy options.

Trunx Rooftop Cargo Carrier - 9 cu ft - Black

Although I just received the Trunx Carrier, and it has been raining almost continuously here, I am impressed with the quality of the product. I still have to drill four new holes to mount the carrier, but you provide on your web site a great video specific to that job. I hope to get it mounted this weekend, and see how long my wife (who does all the driving) allows me to keep it on the van. We won't really use it until mid-April. That etrailer.com made it easy to find a carrier, and videos for our Chrysler 2014 Town and Country Van, gave us a secure feeling about the purchase. I just wish they were located a bit closer to Southern CA. Hope to add photos once it stops raining, and I am able to install the carrier.

Thule Sidekick Roof Mounted Cargo Carrier Box - U-Bolt Mounts - 8 Cubic Feet
This cargo box looks great on top of my Subaru. It was easy to install and it was very secure during my travels across southeast US. Had daughter, two teenagers, my dog, and myself traveling and the extra space was perfect. Cody O was wonderful during the ordering process over the phone and internet.
I have been really happy with this roof box, I was concerned at first because it did not feel as heavy or sturdy as some I've had in the past but it's performed really well and the shape is great. Because of the shape it holds things like carry on luggage on their side, backpacks and lots of gear. A year in, still loving this purchase.

Trunx Rooftop Cargo Box - 18 cu ft - Black
Save your money and do not buy this product, it's poorly manufactured to say the least. 1), the plastic gauge is way to thin making the final product to flimsy. 2) while the order information asked me for make, model and year of vehicle it did not match factory rail specifications. The factory roof rack system for Honda CRV is not adjustable and the 22 inch spread identified for product does not work for Honda installed roof rack systems. 3) lastly, the hinge design on this unit is poorly designed and will not align without modifications to bend the tabs so that they properly align with the slots. Once again, do not waste your money on this product.
The roof top box is definitely big enough for my all my family's gear, planning a road trip out West that includes some camping along the way. The plastic was a bit flimsier than I had expected and I was NOT impressed with the PLASTIC clamps around the side. I'm not too worried of the lid flying off if a clamp or two breaks - the front of the box locks and there is a pin in the rear hinge - however, I'm packing extra rope just in case. It also appears that the rivets holding the rails and lock to the container are also made of plastic. I do a lot of camping, I'll likely update my review after putting it through a few runs.

Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 Rooftop Cargo Box - 14 cu ft - Black
I've taken one 1500 mile trip so far with the Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 mounted on my RAV4. I found the box to be quiet and not to have much impact on gas mileage. I lost maybe 1 mpg with it mounted to my flush mounted Whisperbars. I drove through some very heavy rain and had a minimal amount of water inside under a thin rubber mat I had placed on the bottom of the box; none on my luggage got wet. This box works great to give me more carrying capacity when traveling with my two crated Dobermans.
Terrible build quality , crooked label, lock /latch does not work unless I remove backplate, after a couple times of opening and closing rivet came off latch. For $[XX] would think bettet quality. Seems like Harbor Freight

Malone Cargo12 Rooftop Cargo Box - 12 cu ft - High Gloss Gray
The cargo box is spacious and appears well constructed. We have not used yet. Installation was straightforward. Item well packaged and arrived in great condition.
Although not used frequently this car-top carrier is solidly built, attractive and very roomy. The mounting method is very solid and easy to install and remove. There was no discernible flow noise at interstate speeds and the box is very stable and rigid. My wife was very pleased that it was virtually a perfect match to the paint color of her Audi. I’m definitely pleased with this purchase.
Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2023 Jeep Gladiator
Hi, Matt with etrailer. And today, we're gonna be talking about the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Cargo Box on top of the 2023 Jeep Gladiator. We have our SkyBox on our ladder rack, which is just gonna be a nice option for us too. Since we have it all the way to the end, it's gonna be really easy to access just from the bed of our truck, just so we're not reaching high up on the outside. Now, it's gonna be a great option if you're traveling with people, your cab's already filled up, and you need somewhere to keep your luggage or any additional gear, but you don't wanna keep it out in your bed, because it's gonna be in the weather conditions, so the SkyBox is gonna be a great alternative to store some of your smaller, not as big and bulky items. The reason the 16 is in the name is because it can hold up to 16 cubic feet of storage in your box, so that kind of equates to about three people's worth of stuff.

Rhino-Rack MasterFit Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2021 Jeep Gladiator
Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the Rhino-Rack MasterFit rooftop box here on our 2021 Jeep Gladiator. Now a rooftop box on a Gladiator might seem like kind of odd to you but it actually does serve a pretty good purpose because you've got a smaller truck bed and especially with this one having a tonneau cover, you are limited on space in the back and if you're taking a big road trip or you maybe have some oversized items in the bed maybe you've got some bikes back there. It is going to be a little difficult to fit extra cargo inside the Jeep because it's not super big inside. The next best place to put that stuff is on the roof I think, especially if you've got certain items like skis and snowboards that you maybe want to keep separate from the other stuff, you don't want it banging around in the back of the bed with everything else, you want it up top protected. A rooftop box is gonna be great for that, great for luggage and this one especially is gonna have a lot of room.
