Thule Roof Bike Racks Review - 2012 Honda Odyssey

Today on our 2012 Honda Odyssey, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Paceline Roof-Mounted Bike Rack, part number TH527. We'll begin our test fit by placing the rack on top of our vehicle. If you're on the shorter side, you might want to have a ladder handy. This vehicle is fairly tall. Our Odyssey is equipped with the factory roof rack system. So to begin our test fit, we're going to first open the front nose of the rack, and then the lever here in the back. That's going to drop the T bolt down and allow us to unhook it from the strap. So we're going to fit the strap underneath of our cross bar, and then slide the T bolt back in, and we'll check our tightness. There was a little bit of resistance as we cammed it over, but we're going to get it just a bit tighter, so we'll pull it back out, tighten it up a few turns.



Thule Sprint Roof Bike Racks Review - 2012 Honda Odyssey

Today on our 2012 Honda Odyssey we are going to be test fitting the Thule sprint roof-mounted bike rack, part number TH528. We will start by placing the rack on top of our vehicle. The Odyssey is equipped with the factory-mounted roof rack so what you will want to do is mount the pad here over top of the cross bar and then bring the strap . These are a rubber coated steel strap . You will bring the T of it into the spot that it fits into. There is wing knob here on the back. You will begin tightening down.



Swagman Fork Down Roof Bike Rack Review - 2012 Honda Odyssey

Today on our 2012 Honda Odyssey, we will be test fitting the Swagman fork down roof-mounted bike carrier, part #S64710. With the factory roof rack on our vehicle, we will begin the test fit, by placing the bike rack directly onto our bars. At the front of the bike rack, we will take the U-bolt at the underside of our bars, lifting it through the platform and then securing it with the two wing nuts. We will then repeat this process for the other side of the front mount. Here at the rear of the rack, we will place the U-bolt downward through the holes making sure that it goes around our rear bar. We will place our U-bolt through the black metal plate and secure it with wing nuts.



RockyMounts TieRod Stretch Roof Bike Rack Review - 2012 Honda Odyssey

Today on our 2012 Honda Odyssey, we will be test fitting the Rockymounts tierod stretch roof-mounted bike rack, part number RKY1011. With the factory roof rack on our vehicle, we will begin our test fit by placing our bike rack directly onto our crossbars. We will remove the black cap on the head of the carrier, bring our straps around our bar, and fit them back into the head of the carrier. We will then use an Allen key to tighten the Allen bolt, securing our straps around our bar, and then replace our black cap. Here at the rear, we will completely remove one of the bolts from the bracket. We will position it around our bar and reinstall the bolt loosely. We will tighten down each bolt until our bracket is secured. Now we will grab our bike, placing it onto the bike rack, dropping the front fork down onto the skewer.

Today on our 2012 Honda Odyssey we will be test fitting the Rocky Mounts Tie Rod Roof Mounted Bike Rack, part #RKY1014. Wit the factory roof rack on our vehicle, we will begin the test fit by placing the bike rack directly onto our bars. At the front of the carrier we will remove the black cap, bring our straps around our bar and fit them into the head of the carrier. We will then use an Allen key to tighten the Allen bolt securing our straps around our bar. We will now replace the black plastic cap. We will then move to the rear bar completely removing one of the bolts in our bracket, move it around our bar and re-secure it with the bolt.



Thule Big Mouth Roof Bike Rack Review - 2005 Honda Odyssey

Today on our 2005 Honda Odyssey we'll be test fitting the Thule Big Mouth Roof Mounted Bike Rack part number TH599XTR. With the Thule Crossroad Roof Rack System on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing our Big Mouth directly onto our load bars. Here at the front we'll bring our clamps around the front bar, place the T-bolts through the appropriate slots, and secure them by tightening down the wingnuts on top. We'll do this for both sides of the front platform. Here at the rear we'll undo one of the wingnuts so we can bring our bolts around our rear bar. We'll fit our bolt through the clamp and then secure it by tightening down both wingnuts. With the front and rear secure we'll go ahead and undo each wheel strap.



RockyMounts TieRod Stretch Roof Bike Rack Review - 2005 Honda Odyssey

Today on our 2005 Honda Odyssey, we'll be test fitting the rocky mountains tie rod stretch, roof mounted bike rack, part number RKY1011. With the dually rapid crossroad roof rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the stretch directly onto our load bars. Here at the front we'll bring our straps around our front bar, and remove the black plastic cover. We'll place our straps into the head of our carrier, and use an Allen key to tighten the Allen bow, which will tighten the straps around our bar. We can then replace the black plastic cover. Here at the read, we'll loosen up the bolts on our clamp, to bring around our rear bar.
