The box is big (XL), shiny and sleek. Looks great on our 2021 Subaru Ascent. It weighs about 40lbs, so I was able to simply lift it up and onto the stock Subaru cross bars by myself with a bit of effort going towards balance. Then it was just a matter of attaching the clamps by hand tightening them. I don’t think it could get any easier. The locking mechanism is very assertive and secure. The box is big and can hold just about anything you’d need on a road trip. However, on a midsize SUV like the Ascent, it seems like the perfect size, not too small, not too big. It’s a good fit. Unfortunately, my small 2 car garage is too low to accommodate the vehicle with the box in place. Overall it’s a very refined and well thought out package.

Excellent car top carrier (not that I've had many to compare it to). Easy to install and remove, sturdy, and fits well on our Toyota Siena. Opening it is a little tricky, as sometimes the top sticks to the bottom a bit. Adds a lot of extra storage to our car, great for when we go camping. Great experience with etrailer.

Perfect size for a Q7. We are not skiers but frequent beach goers! I wanted a slim box that could fit all of our beach gear, and this one works perfectly. Can fit 3-4 beach chairs, umbrella, beach bags, fishing poles etc. It’s a snug fit, but well worth the slim profile. (Beach chairs are 25” wide) also, the badging comes off with a little bit of blow dryer heat and dental floss

My original INNO box I bought back in 2013 and during a wind event in Colorado, it sounded like a Teradactyl landed on my car and ripped open the top. I spent a month researching boxes and still chose the INNO. This is the new and improved version of what I had before. I like the metal clamps that hold it onto the crossbars, instead of the plastic claws on the former. It also is just a titch taller, longer, and wider that will be an asset with skis during the winter and camping equipment during the summer.

I use this box about twice a year when I drive from Missouri to Florida and back. It lets me pack most of our stuff on the roof so we can keep the 3rd row up and fit 4 adults and 3 dogs comfortably for the drive. The only thing I would change is The box has hand knobs with nuts inside them and the nuts fall out. Easy to put back in but it'd be better if they just didn't fall out.

I can see why people consider the box a bit flimsy, especially when you do not have it secured to the car and nothing is inside. That’s normal. For this to weigh 34 lbs and yet to be wall sturdy and provide waterproof conditions that the bag cannot, it has to be lightweight. Once we attached it to the car at 4 points, it wasn’t going anywhere and was instantly sturdy. I wouldn’t roughhouse with the locks or opening it up and down with force however. Also, 14 cu for a sedan is plenty. Anything larger and you are looking to push the limits.

Bought this box to hold camping gear while on a cross country road trip. You can put quite a bit of stuff in it. Held securely to roof rack and kept contents dry. I liked that the key could not be removed if lid wasn’t completely closed. Minimal affect on gas milage.

I have had Inno wedge 660 cargo box on my Audi SQ5 for a year now and I love it, it definitely looks amazing on my car. Super easy mounting system. We like the low profile; it still fits skis and snowboards for 4 ppl no problem! Looks great on our Toyota RAV4 Hybrid. Minimal wind noise (any roof box is going to have that). We throw an old rubber yoga mat in the bottom to prevent stuff slipping inside and that works great.

This was a great experience from start to finish. etrailer: After placing the order, I called regarding shipping and quickly got the answer to my question. The box shipped by ground freight, and arrived almost a week before the original scheduled delivery date. The Rhino arrived perfect with protective wrap, and all the required parts. Rhino Rack: This thing is awesome. Unless you jump up into the $1000+ price point, your rooftop carrier options are limited. My two requirements were to fit my skis (181 & 183 cm) and to allow my tailgate to open fully. The Rhino delivered! Bonus that both baby strollers fit as well (Instep baby trailer and Vista Uppababy). Only a week in, but so far the Rhino box and MasterFit clamps seem solid. The ratchet/locking mechanism on the clamps is just ok, you don't have to twist too hard to over power the lock or feel like you are stripping something internally. The hinges are beefy, but don't take up a ton of storage space. It opens from both sides, and you can't remove the key unless it's locked, which is nice for those of us that don't enjoy picking up our stuff on the highway. Also, if you're like me and spent way too much time on mr-box.com, you'll be pleased to know that this thing doesn't look lame. It's pretty sleek, somewhat low profile, with a touch of Euro. It's not too wide, even on the narrow rails of the A4 Allroad there's extra bar space. I could probably squeeze an upright kayak rack, small ski pinchers, or for the ten of us in the world that own RoadShowers...the RoadShower 4 fits no problem. I definitely recommend a Rhino from etrailer.

So I really needed something that was both small but still had lots of room to fit on top of my ND Rf Miata and this was the perfect size. So the method to attach it is quick and pretty easy and I'm able to do it myself without really needing a second pair of hands which is convenient.

It is a well-made and a great innovation to a really nice roof carrier. I like it very much on my Subie Outback.

Bought this as a) it fits my wife's Subaru Outback and my Toyota Highlander and b) either vehicle will fit into the garage with the box attached (key functionality when leaving it mounted for multiple months during ski season). Box has performed well so far having gone on its maiden voyage atop the Outback to VA for Xmas and an epic 28-day adventure on the Highlander to CO this past summer. Easy to mount and dismount (even with crossbars that sit a mere 7/8 inch off the roof on my Highlander) and wind noise increase has been barely noticeable. Well-built and I love the latch/lock and liner/mat. etrailer was great at quickly answering my questions regarding dimensions prior to purchase. Would highly recommend.

Great product and delivered intact. Looking forward to piling Skiis in it. Weirdly, even though the box is what I ordered, Grand Tour Lo Alpine, with storage to 215 cm Skiis, the label on the box was Grand Tour 16, 185cm and 18” tall. Thank goodness it was mislabeled and I got the correct box.

Perfect for skiing. Keeps skies out of the salty highway mess while gears stays in the car. Fits on my Yukon XL and with the low profile allows me to fit in standard garage.

I love this basket! Once I centered on cross braces, it was easy to leave the connectors in same spot. Also, low enough profile to drive in and out my garage. We have a screen door so that made it a shorter height than traditional garage door.

Excellent! Only issue regarding shipping box a bit battered - but product packed well. Also, hardware missing ie a single washer, which was replaced with one of my own.

Hitch works well to transport Lectric trike on back of Class C motorhome. Added magnetic hauling lights plugged into trailer towing plug to corners for additional safety.

Purchased this to carry an e-trike on the front of my truck. It was the only one I could find that would accommodate the 30" width of the trikes rear wheels.

Originally purchased this for a Snowboarding trip but had to cancel it last minute, but I did end up using it for a golf trip. I was able to fit 3 full sets along with a couple travel bags. Having a CX-5 this was a bit too big for my roof but was able to position it well enough to be able to still use the rear hatch. Whether fully loaded or empty the carrier is not even noticeable while driving.

We have used our Inno roof box on a few long trips and I am very happy with it. I like how low profile it is and the fact you can open it from either side which makes packing it much easier. Doesn't seem to negatively effect MPG that much either.

Great, high quality cargo box. Perfect size for my Land Cruiser. We are able to fit numerous items inside. Everything from beach chairs to small luggage/bags. Have traveled through numerous storms with no leakage. Very little if any noise while traveling on the highway. Highly recommend this product and doing business with etrailer. Best price and customer service.

The box is great! It was easy to put on/off and looks like it will be a great size for gear storage. I was disappointed by the delivery and handling. There was some cosmetic damage when it arrived. The side had been pushed in enough to make the black finish turn white. I would suggest being there to inspect the package upon delivery since this is coming by freight. I asked someone to do this on my behalf and that turned out to be a mistake on my part. Never the less it’s a great product, well built (it didn’t break from poor handling, and etrailer was great to work with.

the good: strong. lots of anchor points. secure once assembled. gaps between bars are small, stuff doesn't slip through and hit my roof. reasonably priced. mounts securely. on and off relatively easily. holds a good amount of cargo. weight limit is more than my roof can handle anyway. the bad: assembly is a pain and didn't fit exactly. small rust spots developing. heavy. plastic wind deflector cracked from a rock. lots of wind noise driving at high speeds. overall. i recommend this basket. had some assembly issues because the two pieces didn't fit into each other easily, one side is slightly off-center. wish the plastic wind deflector was metal instead. i've used it several times and have no real issues with it.

Overall a good product and as described. However, the wind deflector was broken, one of the screw holes to put the two halves together was misaligned so the screw would not go in. All resolved with some re-engineering.

Used this box on a 2014 Subaru Outback on a 1,000 mile round trip. The fit was perfect, easy to install. It does require two people to lift onto and off the roof racks. No noticeable noise or humming while driving. The space was adequate for our needs, and we used lashing straps (the cargo tie-down points came in great here) to help prevent shifting. Lots of rain on this trip, but everything in the box was perfectly dry.

Great roof top box. Well designed and sturdy enough for off-road car camping trips to store gear to be able to sleep inside the car. Only con is the weight and bulkiness, but is expected due to the large storage volume. If you want to have an easier time taking on and off the box with only 1 person, would recommend going with one size smaller.

Works great! I needed a rack for transporting bales of hay to my animal sanctuary that was light enough for me, a very petite 60+ woman, to put on/take off by myself. It works perfectly. I did have to buy an extension (was about $10) due to the rear spare tire on my Jeep. Well worth the investment as I use it 2-3 times a week.

The Cargo Carrier works great. It’s light and easy to install and remove. Carrying totes and securing with bungees works well. This makes for minimum effort to open/close van back doors with carrier installed. It is also small and easy to store when not in use.

Great cargo rack! Well made and strong. We modified ours to carry our ebikes on top of our generator and cooler. We've been from coast to coast with no problems.

Used it a hand full of times for camping with two different SUVs and its been great. Once over 2000 miles round trip. With the waterproof bag you can hold more gear since it goes above the side rails. Just be careful if your driveway slopes down you’ll lightly scrape the ground when backing out. And if you have a smaller suv or car make sure you center the heaviest items or it will feel it pulling back and forth on the freeway.
