Rhino-Rack Dome Awning - Roof Rack Mount - Bolt On - 8' 2" Long x 8' 4" Wide
I mounted this awning to the back of my pick up cap. I chose this one for the dome shape so the rear door of the cap could be opened under the awning with little interference. Feels well made. And the awning easily mounted to a Rhino Rack roof track to make it look stealthy and snug to the roof. Only negative, is the dome tent poles are difficult to install in the pockets, but I assume this will get easier with use and as the temperature outside increases. I should have bought some sand screws for the beach.
The Rhino-Rack Dome 1300 is a great addition to my Toyota Tacoma. I use my Tacoma for transporting SCUBA gear and the Awning is great for having shade at a dive site. Easy to setup and take down.

Yakima SlimShady Awning - Roof Rack Mount - Clamp On - 8' Long x 8' Wide
Easy to install, just had to find a good mounting spot. Yakima always makes quality products as this one is well done. Suuuuper fast shipping and customer support is spot on! Couldn't find this particular awning anywhere else but here! Thanks again!!
Used it a few times and it’s worked great! Plenty of cover with 8x8 . I think it’s a two person setup for this model. Putting it on and taking it off the truck is easy . Wish they made Yakima side walls and bug net for it.

Rhino-Rack Batwing Awning - Roof Rack Mount - Bolt On - Driver's Side - 118 Sq Ft
Installed this Batwing on my Intech Micro Toy Hauler - Only thing I had to do was buy some 2" bolts so that I could bolt her to the rack. Easy to install and super easy to set up. In a few years I can tell you how well it holds up. From the looks of it my guess would be that it will hold up pretty well.
In all very happy with the BatWing awning. I do wish it was heavier duty fabric! No issues during the first year of use. Would purchase again!

Rhino-Rack Batwing Awning - Roof Rack Mount - Bolt On - Passenger's Side - 118 Sq Ft
Love this awning! I installed a Batwing awning on a RAM Promaster High Roof van. Had to purchase extended legs for it so they will reach the ground. It is great to be able to be protected from the elements at both the side and the back of the van and while moving between side and back. Some things to be aware of: 1) At least one ladder is needed for opening and closing the awning in this high-roof situation. And it is best to do it with 2 people. 2. With the crossbars mounted on the vehicle's standard middle and rear mounting posts, the awning does not completely cover the sliding door. The front 24 to 30" or so of the door is exposed. If the crossbars are mounted to the front and middle mounting points, most of the sliding door will be covered, but the awning will not extend as far out on the rear. 3. Rain will come through between the side of the van and the awning. The crossbars need to be shifted as far to the driver's side as possible in order to minimize the gap between the side of the van and the awning. 4. The height of these vans makes the awning even more susceptible to being pulled up by wind gusts. Make sure the awning is secured to the ground. This is another reason why it is best to open the awning with 2 people.
This is the one piece of camping gear that once it's set up people just come by and say "whoah". First off, it's huge and the amount of coverage it gives is amazing and makes single panel awnings just look silly in comparison. I love how easy it is to set-up which makes it a no-brainer whether or not to deploy it, always yes. Here's a few tips after using it for a year... If it's windy at all stake it down and if you have a buddy to help with setup all the better. These things are like giant sails and I've snapped a few of the hinge pieces due to big gusts and not staking it down. The GOOD news is that the hinges are designed to snap under load (instead of the more expensive arms) and are easily replaceable and you can do it with basic hand tools by yourself so keep the spares they give you in the stake pouch. You can extend the coverage with the zip-on panels ...or just get some spring clamps and attach a sheet/tarp/towel/whatever for the extra shade. I had someone come up and chat me up about the awning and he asked this simple question, "if you had to do it over would you buy this one again?". 100% yes.

Thule HideAway Awning for ProMaster or Sprinter - Roof Mount - 8' Long x 10' 8" Wide
I will just email this review to you here. So far the Thule roof mount awning appears to be a 5-Star product. Just now have it installed. This awning is very nice. It mounts tight to the roof with a foam rubber gasket to eliminate any potential rattles while driving or rain leaking in under the awning when in use. It has a low profile to minimize wind resistance while driving. The adapter kit which secures the Awning to the roof of the ProMaster Van is excellent quality and attaches quickly and securely. However, placing the awning into the adapter brackets is not as simple as the directions indicate. Once you figure out the proper procedure required(which is a bit different than the directions) it all went together nicely. Here are a couple of pictures. from this morning's installation. Not a very nice day here so the pics are marginal. Hopefully you received the return awning ok. Thanks for you good service,
The awning arrived and was very well packaged. Installation was a little tricky until I realized that being on the roof of my van rather than on a ladder next to the van would make seating the connecting hooks far easier. I think the awning looks great and seems rock solid.

Thule HideAway Awning - Roof Rack Mount - Waterproof - 8' Long x 10' Wide
I've been on the hunt for this awning for over a year as its been out of stock. There are other options out there for the Sprinter van but this one was the best choice for my rack. You do need to purchase the mounting brackets separately, which come with different options for attaching to crossbars amd roof rails. I had some roof rail pucks laying around that I used to attach the brackets too. This is very versatile and can be set up with the legs on the ground or with the Thule optional brackets(Purchase separately) that attach the legs to the van..this is great if setting up on a hard surface or if you need to keep your dog on a lead and not get tangled up.the only tricky part for me is that my van is tall so once I get the awning out about 2 ft, I have to hop in the van and get the legs out- no biggie.this is very nicely made and easy to set up take down. Lots of optinal accessories as well
After a ton of research I chose the Hideaway roof rack mount awning for my Ford Transit van conversion project. The awning was easy to mount, (did so in about 1 hour with help of my wife). I mounted my roof rack mounting brackets upside down onto my home-made roof rack and it fits beautifully.

Thule HideAway Awning for ProMaster or Sprinter - Roof Mount - 8' Long x 12' 3" Wide
Replaced the Carefree awning on our 2019 Travato with this product. Like the sleeker look of the Thule awning when closed. 4 stars was only because of a missing arm cover (refer to photos). The legs locking mechanism is kinda squirrelly so hoping there’s a fix to tighten those.
After 1 year of use I have discovered that service parts are not available for this awning in the USA. I broke a support leg and have been told by Thule USA to buy a complete awning if I need spare parts. This is definitely not acceptable and unexpected. Buyer beware this awning is not fully supported by Thule USA.
