Curt Pintle Hook - Bolt On - 30,000 lbs
It's solid and straightforward. Haven't had 30K# behind it (yet) but towed an empty 25K# GVWR equipment trailer from Indiana to Mississippi without any trouble at all.
Arrived quick easy to install. Outstanding service.

I have only used this hitch a few times, having recently purchased it. I like to see reviews after a product has seen some use. Pintle hitches are a simple mechanism, this one seems to be beefy and well made. There is a little lip at the top of the hook you can see in the listing photo if you look and already know it's there, If things are tight this is enough to catch on the loop when you are trying to unhook. If you are jacking up an already heavy trailer, this is a 30K lb hook, and can't get free of the truck it can be frustrating.
I switched to a Lunette ring after noticing excessive wear on my ball couplers from driving on dirt roads every day. These give me peace of mind while driving, they are a more robust design and they are easy to inspect for wear when attaching the trailer to the vehicle. The only wear I see now is where the ring and pintle hook ride is polished.

Buyers Products 15 Ton Combination Pintle Hitch w/ 2-5/16" Ball
We’ve had this hitch for a year now and it has given us good service. We tow a 20 ton trailer hauling an excavator regularly and the hitch performs well. etrailer.com has excellent customer service also. Would highly recommend.
Great product use it on my 1/2 ton truck to move empty equipment trailers.
