Swagman X Mount Bike Carrier Storage Rack - Wall Mount - 2" Racks
The Swagman X Mount Bike Carrier Storage Rack - Wall Mount rack really freed up floor space in our garage. We purchased two (2) mounts as we have a two bike Swagman rack and a four bike Hollywood rack. We use both bike racks with our RV and tow vehicle when the whole family travels with us. With the bike racks stored in the upright position on the Swagman storage racks, I can have our second car car in the garage. We used a 3/4 inch plywood backing for the wall mounts which allowed me to install the wall mounts between two wall studs. The four bake rack is mounted low on the wall and the two bike rack is mount just above it about shoulder height. Both racks are easy to remove and put in place for storage. The Swagman X Mount Bike Carrier Storage Rack - Wall Mount Rack is a real space saver.
Product performs exactly as promised. I have 3 receiver hitch racks, and it was great to get a couple off the floor. Bonus is that one of them is designed in such a way that I can hang a bike on it while stored in this bracket and work on the bike. Took away one star because I would like to have seen larger screws or maybe square bit screws. This came with 4 long skinny phillips head screws that seem to do the job, but require a lot of care to prevent stripping out the heads.

Hollywood Racks Rack Valet Rolling Storage Cart for Hitch-Mounted Bike Racks - 100 lbs
So as with another customer I have a Thule T2 Pro XT and the rack will not insert in far enough for the locking pin on the rack to engage. So rather than drill a hole in my new valet I assembled it with the receiver section reversed. Now I can put the rack on and it slides far enough in that locking pin engages. (Check out the photos.) This is the reason for the 4 star review. Other than that it seems to be sturdy and definitely serves the purpose it was designed for.
I wanted to bring to your attention a problem I am having with my recent order for the:Hollywood Racks Rack Valet Rolling Storage Cart for Hitch-Mounted Bike Racks - 100 lbsItem # HRRV-1, which I just received. As you can see from the attached picture, the bike rack doesn't fit into the storage rack because the pin cannot reach the hole where it secures the system. It falls short by about an inch of reaching the hole. The rack I have is the Thule T2 Pro XT, and the picture attached below shows the reason why - namely the housing of the pin comes in the way of moving the rack further to be able to reach to hole. You can see the Hitch Pin Alignment Collar on the floor, but even after removing the latter it didn't fit. I did ask one of your reps whether the Hollywood storage cart would be compatible with the Thule rack which I had & she said it would be fine. I don't know if you have a solution, but if not I guess I'll just have to live with it - albeit a little less securely.

Steadyrack Bike Storage Rack - Wall Mount - 1 Mountain Bike
etrailer was very timely with my order. They shipped quickly to the west cost. The packaging was excellent. The product arrived in perfect condition. This is the best bike rack on the market...no contest. I own 3 steady racks from etrailer.com. The are very. very easy to mount. I have 3 e-bikes on the steady rack. The ebikes weigh 56 pounds, no problem. The big 2.5 inch knobby wheels fit perfectly. The easy racks fold against the wall when not in use and when in use you can swing the bikes left or right to increase room for walking by next to your car or trucks. Simply put...if you have a bicycle go to etrailet.com. pick your rack. buy your rack online. etrailer.com has your back. The easiest and best rack youll ever buy. not even close.
Great bike rack design and execution. Bike remains secure. Swivels from side to side easily. Easy to install. You may have to adjust the top bolt/screw (1 of 2 lag bolts to secure the device into the wall) higher or lower depending on how much ease of swiveling from side to side you desire. The rear tire holder is a plastic, not steel V shaped piece that although it works OK, could be better if the designers used more of a C shaped piece. That way when you do swivel your bike from side to side, the rear tire won't slip out. Regardless of the rear tire does slip out, the bike remains firmly in the grip of the Steadyrack. This idea is an improvement on the design and would keep the bike more secure and allow more freedom of movement without changing the design much. I will be making my own rear tire holder out of metal just for my own convenience. Great product. Definitely recommend.
