Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R16 Roller - Slide Bar Jaw - 16,000 lbs
Successfully installed this hitch even in a RAM Box. I did remove 2" from the handles so I have the proper clearance for the RAM box. That shortened length hasn't changed my ability to unlock the hitch for either function even being 5'-8". I do think this installation method with U-bolts that go around the frame is easier than the 1/2 ton version I installed which pulled knurled bolts through the factory frame holes to hold the support brackets.
Etrailer sent me a one year follow-up email. Since purchasing this I've used it to tow our 11k lb camper about 5k miles. The hitch and slider have worked exactly as they should and I have no complaints.

Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R16 Slider - Dual Jaw - 16,000 lbs
The Curt A16 5th wheel w/ R16 slider is a great looking hitch. I received the hitch on May 11, 2023, replacing an older Reese 15K hitch with a slider lock bar. It was easy to finish the assembly and install. I immediately took my fifth wheel out, using the new hitch with the dual jaw locking system. The ride was amazing. The RV, which weighs approximately 10,000 pounds, loaded, did not buck or rattle, and responded perfectly to the turns, acceleration and deceleration with no issue. It was if there was nothing behind me. The only issue with the Curt A16 is the height. At its lowest setting, the nose of the trailer was up too high. However, by raising the tongue of the RV to its highest setting, I was able to remedy most of that issue. I am looking forward to my trips this year with the new hitch!
Love the hitch, slider's OK, my truck hates them though. It'd probably be fine in a different vehicle but The "acceptable play" in the slider mechanism is at a resonance to my truck and camper creating a vicious front-back oscillation hitting rough surfaces. After addressing several other issues and the problem persists. Finally, I 3D Printed bushings to eliminate the play which almost completely eliminates the oscillation. On the bright side, Curt and etrailer are working with me on it.

B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Dual Jaw - 18,000 lbs
There was a snafu on the delivery of this, like it ending up 1000 miles from my house on the first try, and then the delivery company getting mad at me for not having a forklift at my house. Since I just got this yesterday I can't say much ab out it yet, I am still trying to install it. I do suggest a hoist in your garage if you plan on removing this hitch at all, it is heavy. It looks to be in great condition though! I can't wait to get it attached so I can give it a test drive on a 2 hour trip. I can tell you that two RV retailers suggested this B&W hitches, so I have high hopes. With all the products on the market today, to get recommendations from two different companies that installs them, is impressive.
The B&W 327018K 5th wheel hitch is an excellent product and a really good value. After my 22 year old Reese 14K hitch broke (compromised the locking jaws) I was unsure what my options were so I called E-trailer. Fortunately I got Alex on the phone. He was extremely helpful and insightful. He told me about the B&W products and that is how I ended up with the 3270. I was concerned about the weight. As a 68 year old retiree, I was able to lift the Reese in/out of my truck but afraid the B&W would be too heavy. Alex told me they offered a product that clamped into 5th wheel jaws of the B&W. If I had a pulley system, a lift, or a tractor it was a piece of cake. I have the latter two. After I received the new hitch I assembled and installed in a couple of minutes. Taking the hitch in/out is easy. Thank you Alex

Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Square Tube Slider - Dual Jaw - 16,000 lbs
Arrived yesterday, box with hitch was broken, UPS driver said he taped it up. All parts look good. Plastic bag with small parts was torn open, 2 small parts missing, I can get them locally. I understand that there heavy Just need to be packaged better. Otherwise all ok.
I’ve alway used hitches from Reese and enjoyed their performance. This is my first 5th hitch. It broke on the third pull. The rod holding the jaws fractured opening one side of the jaws. Thank God the trailer stayed attached and we made it home. Reese saw it was a warranty issue and replaced the hitch. Currently we are still using it and all appears to be working fine

Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Single Jaw - Above Bed - 21,000 lbs
This review is for the Demco Autoslide 21k and accompanying OEM rail adaptor I purchased for a 2020 Ram 3500 Megacab DRW. I've owned it one year. Overall, the hitch performs as I expected. It is high quality, very sturdy and seems like it will last for a long time. I had it installed at the dealer when I purchased the truck. It automatically slides to protect the cab in my 6'4" bed without any incidents. I tow a standard fifth wheel RV. There are a few negatives, which are not necessarily shortcoming of the product but, instead, necessary evils to allow me to have a short bed. First, it is BIG and BULKY. I believe this is just a function of the mechanism required to allow the autosliding feature and I am not really sure there are any other lighter alternatives with this feature. The fact it requires two parts (OEM Puck Rail and hitch), make it even more bulky. It takes up almost the entire bed and prevents most auxillary tank / tool box combos from fitting. Even standard size storage bins will not fit in my bed. I would prefer if they had a custom OEM all-in-one hitch for my truck like they do for the Ford. It adds significant weight, which decreases carrying capacity, which can be at a premium in hauling a heavy fifth wheel. I've never even tried to take it out of the bed due to the weight and difficulty. I also am not very happy with the adjustable catch plate design. It requires significant manipulation loosening and tightening 8 nuts when hitching and unhitching. This requires a step ladder to reach the nuts. I also found out after the fact that it does not come with the right size catch plate attachments for my hitch and I had to purchase a separate part, which added unexpected expense and delayed my taking the RV on its first trip. Overall, I am satisfied with the hitch.
I have not received the Autoslide trailer hitch only the locking plate. When will I get the hitch??

Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Single Jaw - Above Bed - 18,000 lbs
From a ride perspective, this is an excellent hitch for a shortbox. I never worry about hitting my cab and have been all over the country with my 5er. Maintenance is relatively simple and makes traveling easy. Some cons are, of course, the weight and size of this beast. But, it works for me and I like the comfort of knowing I don't ever have to hop out in traffic to slide the hitch to make a turn. Another potential con is the height. In my 16 Nissan Titan XD Pro4x Cummins, I have to have this on the lowest rail setting and it still is quite tall. I know that's mostly my truck's height issue, even stock, but still a drawback for this to me. Also, I had one of the alan bolts come undone in the handle that controls the kingpin claw (so now I keep a closer eye on all the bolts)...but Demco sent me a new one no questions. Even so, all concerns are minor in the grand scheme of things.
Has to do a little assembly, really easy. Tows super nice, when turning does move towards the back. You’ll need to adjust the guides for the fifth wheel.

B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs
Extremely easy install. You will need a torque wrench that’ll go up to 110 ft/lbs. glad I did my research and went with the B&w gooseneck hitch in anticipation of getting this 5th wheel companion hitch at a later time.
Fast shipping and the box was in perfect condition. I appreciate the amazing customer service. They were friendly and had a good attitude when I called with questions. I look forward to shopping with them in the future. The shipping company called ahead of time and scheduled the delivery because it was such a large item they were friendly and was within their timeframe. Thank you etrailer.com I appreciate it.

B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w Slider for Ford Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 20K
This slide hitch is, for me, an absolute must for hauling my fifth wheel with a standard sized truck bed on my F250 Super Duty. Without the slide I would be at great risk of rear of cab contact with the front of the camper. It's a great product for when I need to maneuver my camper; which is almost always either at the campsite or my driveway.
my companion 5th wheel hitch(rvk3370) hitch was delivered on 3/11, I installed it in a couple hours on 3/12. It was a piece of cake, the delivery was made with a lift gate truck that I back my truck up to and had the driver lower the lift gate down onto my tailgate, I unpackaged the hitch and was able to Maneuver it by myself into the puck system on my truck, I have the slider hitch so much heavier than the standard one, but still very easy for my 65 year old body to handle, the B t W was the only hitch I considered because of the ruggedness and quality of their products my truck is a 2023 Ford F 350

B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider for Ram Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 20K
I would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the following. 1. The weight of this hitch makes it extremely hard to remove or reinstall if you ever need to use the truck bed. (But the weight does make it a solid piece of equipment) 2. While installing I followed all the instructions precisely, especially when locking in the puck latches. I made sure the slide moved freely forward and back, but when I put the weight of my camper on it the slide (I made sure I was on level ground) would bind up to a point it really didn’t want to move. I had to loosen two of the puck latches opposite of each other in order to get it to work properly. They are definitely looser than described in the book but not to a point where I feel it to be unsafe. I do like the way this hitch works and I make sure all moving parts and connections are secured properly prior to use. All in all, I definitely recommend this hitch.
i have had the hitch for about one year and have not once regretted purchasing it. It is extremely well made and more than i need to pull my 10,000 lb fifth wheel, but that gives me great confidence that it is adequate to the task. The only potential negative is that the hitch is heavy, making it difficult to remove from the bed when necessary, It breaks down into 2 parts, the head (not too heavy for one person to remove from the bed), and the base. I intend to get a small derrick crane that attaches to my hitch receiver to lift the base out and drop it on a small 4 wheel dolly so I can roll it into the garage. All in all, I am happy with my purchase.

Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Single Jaw - Under Bed - 13,000 lbs
The hitch is great. I installed it myself and it worked very well pulling a 5th Wheel Trailer across the country last year. I have learned however that one must start out from corners slower to avoid a large "clunk" as the hitch slides in the frame per the inherent design. Great Product!

Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Single Jaw - Underbed - 21,000 lbs
After a year, I still like my Demco autoslide. It works great. I have pulled my trailer quite a few times and have had no issues at all. I know quite a few people that pull 5th wheels and one actually went out and purchased a autoslide after watching mine work.
This hitch has been used daily since i purchased it. I deliver fifth wheel travel trailers all over the country. This hitch has worked flawlessly from day one. This hitch is one of the only products that I've ever bought that is exactly what it was described to be. Im not one to do reviews, so the fact that im doing this one , in itself, says a lot about the quality of your product. The design and looks are much better than any other hitch ive seen. It just looks better in the truck bed than others do.

Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider for Ford Towing Prep Package - Slide Bar Jaw - 16,000 lbs
Bolt coming out on roller wheel, rusts very quick, and locking arms don’t pull that well or easy from outside of the bed
Doesn't operate as easily as I hoped. Sticks when trying to slide which means jumping in and out of cab many times. Also its heavy as it should be,but it doesn't come apart easily for removal in two pieces that can be lifted separately. You need a winch to remove it safely. Its a pain in the you know what. I like my old two piece hitch better. I could take it in and out in a few minutes, but it won't work in my new f350.
