Best 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche Towing Mirrors

I wish I'd had these mirrors 15 years ago. I can finally see down the side of my two place sled trailer. That being said, man, these things are a pain to install. Probably didn't help that it was 6 degrees outside when I did it. I ended up removing 1 srip of tape from driver's side and 2 from passenger's side. Even then, it was a fight. They do bounce a little, but that will be corrected this Spring with a little Goop from Wal Mart. I plan to just keep them on year round. Great product. 4 stars for difficulty mounting and 2 stained elbows.??

As stated in other reviews, the mirror extensions can be difficult to out on. Finally had to remove all three pieces of the protective tape that is supposed to protect the finish on the factory installed mirror to get the extensions to fit. Mirrors to shake quite a bit when driving even after tightening them per manufacturer directions. Ok product for the price.

Very tight fit, afraid I might break them some day but have held up well to date. Minimal wind vibration, I love that my power mirrors still work with these in place. Looks like original equipment when the are installed. eTrailer provided speedy delivery and kept me well informed on the status of my order.

Nice product, a little tight on my 2011 Avalanche. I need to use a flat head screw driver to assist in putting on. Once on fits very tight, should not vibrate at all.

These mirrows are easily installed and removed. they are secure and don't vibrate when traveling. have not screatch my mirrors and can still adjust vehicle power mirrors. Have recommended to friends.

I started using these add-on mirrors 21 days ago and have been on the road ever since covering over 2000 miles. I cannot image how slightly over $50 could be better spent if a trailering mirror and you don't care to spend the change for the factory $400 to 500 items. I am extremely pleased with the purpose. Fit - perfect (after I overcame my learning disability). Easy "on and off" too. Looks - plastic, but still looks great and like they belong on the vehicle which is a 2010 Avalanche. Vibration - very little and not nearly enough to bother. (The more any mirror sticks out, the more subject it will be to vibration due to geometry!) Attachment - very secure (if its not secure, something has been assembled incorrectly. Adjustment - manual, of course (remember $50+ for a set) but adequate. A little stiff at first. Sturdy - Yes, plastic, but robust! Not at all flimsy! Mirror - It's really a mirror and not a foggy sliver coating sprayed or laminated onto plastic. (If its either it is so well done that it has fooled me.) Instructions - adequate and accurate, but reading skills of the population is declining including mine. (Maybe there is a YouTube video somewhere!) I looked at others in local stores, but nothing came close to the utility&quality per dollar these provide even though several cost much more. Caveat: Don't lose the small mounting for each mirror when mountings/dismounting & storing. (That would be annoying! I store in the original cardboard box from the factory.) Overall, I can't imagine an improvement that wouldn't involve some kind of compromise in other features or overall utility. If I should lose or break one (it would have to be carelessness), I will purchase it again.

I fitted these towing mirrors on my '07 Avalanche. They fit perfectly. The instructions about affixing the little felt strips was confusing and seemed a bit too wide for where they were to be place. They work but the strips should be modified a bit. Instructions should also be more clear. The mirrors look nice and give great visibility. I haven't put them to use yet but will do so very soon. I like the mirrors (item CTM 1600) I order for my 2010 Chevy Avalanche. When I placed my order they shipped within 24HR. and they gave me priority shipping. They were to ship in 5-7 day that was changed to 3-5 at no extra charge. After I received the mirrors I did have a question about the J-clip that is used to attaché the mirror. I didn’t think they were long enough, I could get the clip around the mirror on the truck but it is fairly tight. It wouldn’t hurt if these were a little longer as they have a nut on them to make the adjustment. I used the mirrors this past weekend pulling a 24’ camper trailer and I could see both sides of the trailer as well as the traffic that was coming up on me. There was little to no vibration at speeds up to 70 MPH. I would buy this product again and would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for mirrors. And etrailer.com made the whole experience very pleasant. I am very satisfied !!!!

Fit perfect And a good price for what’s needed

Mirrors did exactly what they were supposed to do, clear the blind spots from pulling a wide trailer. Easy to install, just took a little getting used to since you are now looking into 2 side mirrors instead of 1. I recommend this product

this is the second set I have purchased this summer (traded trucks). mirrors do a great job of improving the rear vision of trailer. Gets out and beyond the camper. Both sets function great the second pair the finish had some minor inperfections but they are after all temporary mirrors. I would buy rhem again. Great price for great reults. I also parked truck in the hot sun and put a cord around mirrors just to form it tighter to my mirrors on second set not needed, just me

I am very happy with these extendable towing mirrors. They're high quality in looks and constuction. The mirrors are larger than the mirrors they replaced and give a much better view to the rear. The instalation took approximately 1.25 hrs. done at a local body shop. They will be a great help when towing our travel trailer.

I ordered there mirrors based on reviews. Fast delivery? I hit send on my order then the doorbell rang. They fit perfectly, the wiring harness snaps right in place with new hardware attached. I bought both sides for my 2011 silverado and they look really good they look like they are factory mirrors install very quickly about 1 minute a side and they still allow the mirror to fold in if need be and they don't hit the side of the truck when folded in they fit my needs just fine the only complaint I have is the mirror itself could be bigger its about 1/3 the size of my factory mirror you have a decent blind spot when using them you just have to check yourself and its not a problem other than that they fit my needs well and come on and off quickly so they work really well if you don't tow 247 but it you tow very often like for a living I would recommend the full replacement ones cause they have less blindspot but if you tow every now and then they will suit your needs just fine I would recommend this product it you tow every now and then

The slip-on mirrors that I ordered fit snugly over the existing mirrors. As a Canadian, I was a bit anxious about ordering the mirrors from an American company in case they didn't fit, however your videos and sizing according to the vehicle year, and model made it reassuring that the product would work. I'm really happy with the mirrors, and look forward to using them for many years to come.

Easy to install and greatly increase my rear view. I can now see past our 21ft camper. The led turn signals are also a nice option. Very happy with purchase.

The replacement mirror I purchased is a great product. Although it’s not 100% exactly identical to the factory mirror it’s not noticeable to a average person because the mirror glass is all that’s slightly different, very slightly! The slightly difference in comparison outweighs the cost of a factory replacement by far.

Identical OEM Mirror. Not one thing was different. Perfect fit. Will use you again if I need a vehicle part. What sold me on the K-Source mirror was the many different views and measurements you provided and the technical info you gave on this product. I could have gotten one a little cheaper, but I feel that's just what I would of got. Thanks

Exceeded expectations as a add on to the factory mirrors for both a Chevy Silverado truck and a Ford F150. It appears the extension is a perfect match and functional solution for trailer towing without the expenditure of new mirrors. Etrailer was not only the greatest value for this product from any internet site or regional store supply, but they also beat their date of delivery by six days on a UPS business delivery. I will definetly use etrailer for future purchases!!

I bought the towing mirror to replace one that got damaged. I like the mirror and was pleased that I found the replacement at etrailer.com. The site was easy to use and the order was quickly filled.

This was exactly the mirror I was looking for to match the existing Driver's side. The product has been improved since my last one which blew off from being loose anyhow while this one is engineered better and gives a good view of the blind side of the trailer and right lane. Good for corners and space back ins!!

After years of replacing mirrors from other sources I purchased a pair of these. There fantastic, plenty of adjustments. Got covid on vacation, really sick and did not properly install mirror. Not broken but scratched badly from asphalt at 55 mph. Purchased a replacement, scratched one is my spare.

These mirrors are good, but not great. I bought these because nothing else fits my 2004 Ford Expedition. They allow me to see around my trailer much better than the factory mirrors, but the have a slight vibration driving down the road. They also make a very noticeable noise from the wind going between the factory mirror and this product. Finally, one of the straps came off when I tightened it a bit too much, but didn't break. The picture below was done in humor (I took my trailer through a drive through, thought it was really funny, and had to take a picture. The picture is a good shot of the mirrors.)

Won’t stay locked in stoned position

Love these mirrors! Have had them on the truck now for a year and they work perfect and give you a lot more visibility than the standard short factory mirrors. No need for aftermarket extensions with these. Plus they slide out if you need even more visibility but we never had to use that alternative yet cause they work great just the way they are. We tow a tandem axel 7x14 cargo trailer and have plenty of visibility to see backing up and nicely down each side while driving. Much safer in heavy traffic. Installation was very simple and the mirrors bolted right on with exacting fit. I would totally recommend these if your needing better visibility over the small OEM mirrors for towing or just daily driving.

Pros: Very easy to install. Will fit on almost anything. Cons: Bit of a challenge to adjust the in/out tilt on fixed mirror housings. Would like a little more height, but it's OK. This is a good solution for the casual user like me. Installation is painless. If you need more control over height or tilt, this is not for you.

I bought the trailer mirrors for my Jeep Grand Cherokee to pull my pull behind trailer. See pictures. The mirrors attach easily and securely and shake very little when driving. I need them mostly when backing up and I can see where the trailer tires are going. The mirrors do not adjust easily but when you do they stay in place. What I especially like is the size of the mirrors and having two independent mirrors.

These mirrors are great quality very close to OEM . The installation went very well. I did take the door panel off to make it easier to get to the two lower fasteners, just to make sure I didn't loose the nuts inside door. There was very little vibration in the mirrors, I was a little worried about that by reading previous reviews. The mirrors held their positions, folded nicely when parked in tight spots. Everything said this is a great quality product

The mirror was easy to install and the mirror does not vibrate when driving, so vision is clear and stable.
