Simple and rugged, this time-delay brake controller is able to install in any direction, even upside down. Includes a large digital display with a dark smoke lens that can be read even in direct sunlight. Activates brakes with a preset intensity.
Installation Notes:
Vehicles with the 7-Way tow package have the blue output brake wire already ran from the back to the front. It is located under the dash near the emergency brake pedal.
If your vehicle has a round plug with a cap inside the driver's side frame rail instead of a bundle of wires in the jack storage compartment, use part # 30955.
Some models will require a wiring kit to run wire to the battery. This may require drilling a hole in the firewall to run the wire. You may use kit 5506 which includes 20, 30, and 40 amp breakers.
Tech Tip:
Some models will have the connection wiring taped and tucked under the driver side floor mat up towards the firewall.

You may also need a 4-Flat connector to complete your wiring.
