The formula you used is only a guess and wouldn't be an accurate way to determine your trailer's actual pin weight since it's a triple axle toy hauler. The only way to get an accurate number would be to measure at highway weigh station. You'll hook up to the trailer and drive onto the scale with only the 4 wheels of the truck sitting on the scale. Most people prefer to completely replace the brake assembly instead of replacing just the brake shoe because the cost of the brake shoes is about 3/4 the cost of completely replacing the assembly and you'll typically have quite a hard time removing and swapping in the new brake shoes, especially if you don't have the correct tools and have the technique down.
