To install a battery disconnect, like the Deka Lead Quick-Disconnect Battery Terminal - Universal Polarity # DW05312. it is pretty straight forward, you are just putting a break or disconnect along the negative battery cable in the vehicle. These are used to prevent the battery from being drained whilst flat towing. That said there must be battery power to move the transmission's internal components to neutral (N) properly.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11431 is only rated for 2,000 lbs of towing capacity so it will not allow you to pull a 4,000 lb camper. Also, your towing capacity is relegated to the lowest-rated component, so a trailer hitch will not improve the towing capacity of any vehicle. view full answer...
I checked the owner's manual for your 2002 Ford Focus with a front wheel drive, and found that it is not recommended for flat-towing. Per the manual they recommend using a tow dolly so that the drive wheels are not on the ground when towing.

Using the Roadmaster Tow Dolly, part # RM-2050-1 for your 2014 Focus will work great. The dolly has electric brakes and has tail lights so the stress will not be on your car when towing.

Hidden Hitch and Draw-Tite are the same thing, they were made by the same parent company, and just branded differently, but they are exactly the same.
So the Hidden Hitch 60870 is exactly the same as the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24692.
This hitch is a fit for a 2004 Ford Focus, and I have added a link to a video install for you to check out as well. view full answer...
The hitch as shipped weighs about 26 lbs, but the hitch minus the sipping box and packaging weighs right at 20 lbs.
If you'll be towing with the hitch, you'll also need the following equipment if you don't already have it:

1-7/8 Inch Trailer Ball, part # 19256
2 Inch Trailer Ball, part # 19258

To ensure your RoadMaster Sterling Tow Bar # RM-576 stays clean when the tow bar is in the storage position, I recommend the RoadMaster Tow Bar Cover # RM-055-3.
When you detach the tow bar simply wind all the cables loosely around the tow bar and set it in the storage position. The tow bar cover slides over the entire unit and clasps closed. view full answer...
