Video Transcript for An In-Depth Look at the Wiper Technologies Windshield Wiper Blade

Hey, everybody. Welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby. And today we're taking a look at the Wiper Technologies, windshield wiper blades, contour, or beam style. And these guys are going to be an awesome way of just replacing your damaged or potentially non-working wiper blades. So usually you're going to start seeing a little tearing, a little fraying here on your rubber.

Now we do have them here installed already to give you guys a look of how they're going to be sitting on there. One thing I like they are thin they're not gonna be taken up too much room, which is kind of nice, kind of fit perfectly for your, you know, your everyday vehicles. Now, if you're looking for a heavy duty application, I highly recommend taking a look at etrailer.com. Cause these guys aren't going to be quite it. They're just a simple little beam style.

So they're going to be excellent at just getting off most of your normal everyday weather. If you have a lot of rain, of course, it's going to do a great job. Now it's probably going to perform okay, in that snow, in that ice, as those winter months come in, however, it is only a beam style, so it doesn't have too much support on it. So if you're looking for something a little more heavy duty, you might want to go ahead and start doing a little more perusing, but if you're looking for a way of just giving yourself a nice set of blades to go ahead and get off that rain, make sure we have a clear viewing outside of our window, these are definitely gonna be a go-to for you guys. So let's go ahead and start taking a closer look together.

So here we have it installed, just giving you guys a look here at the adapter, how it's holding on there, and you can see what I mean by this beam style, right So we only have our single blade here and you can see it's kind of contoured here. These ends kind of want to pull it in. What that's doing is it's just going to go ahead and make sure we're having constant contact on our window, which is great. And with it too, it does have a graphite coating on here. So yes, that's going to keep it lasting a little bit longer, but also that graphite coating just makes it easier to go ahead and have a streak free kind of cross, across your windshield.

So that for, you're not leaving any skips. It's not being left behind. And when it starts skidding across your windshield, that's when you start leaving a little bit of water behind. So that graphite does a great job, making sure it's nice and smooth as we go across our window. We actually did go ahead and actually have one of our guys test these out on the highway, and he said they did an excellent job. He didn't see too much differences between the, he had just gotten new blades and they we're pretty much the exact same, which is great. And again, the one thing I always worried about with these contours is them skipping and kind of getting that wind from the highway. So I was really glad to hear that even when he was approaching those high speeds, these corners weren't coming down and flopping around, he was still having a nice, clear sweep across his window. All right, guys, to show you how this is installed, I've gone ahead and just left the blade on here. You want to go ahead and pop that latch out. Now this is where things might be different at home, right Your blade that you have is going to be a little bit different than this assembling. A lot of times, they're just a little clip you have to hit or a little hinge. Sometimes you just have to kind of push it out and it will come undone. So to give you guys a look here at the adapter, this what's comes with it. So if you do have your J style hook, you're gonna have a way easy time going ahead and actually latching on inside in here, guys. So we can go ahead and take this guy. Simply place it in just like so, and latch it just like that, and then bring down arm. And there we are nice and installed. Of course you can go ahead and repeat the process on the other side. Let's go ahead and see how it does. All right, guys, here we are just gonna be simulating a little rain. Luckily for us, we're going to have a nice little coat here from the mist. Let's go and see how these guys do. All right. So I'm not seeing any skipping in there. We still have just a little light misting coming down. So that's doing a great job. I'm going to go ahead and add to it though, here with our wiper blade fluid. And you can see leaving those streaks behind, which is great, no skips in there. And one thing I'm liking too, we're not leaving that much of a triangle down here. You can see that actually does a great job. I'm liking how much those are in line. Sometimes you leave that little pocket, which can always be just something you're staring at, but this is doing a great little job guys. I'm not seeing these skips and it's getting my entire view open for myself. Well, guys that did a great little job of making sure we didn't have any rain impacting my view on there, which you definitely like to see. Like I said, these are going to be awesome little pickup. Just going ahead and replacing your older blades that are just starting to wear out. Not quite do the job. Again, if you're looking for more of a heavy duty application, again, highly recommend kind of perusing around each etrailer.com. We've got a lot of great options there. These again, are going to be excellent for your everyday driving though, of making sure that that rain isn't going to be impacting your view.
