Dustin: What's up road warriors Dustin here at etrailer.com. Today we've got our 2015 Thor Miramar. We're gonna show you how to install the Clear Plus Heavy Duty Windshield Wiper Blades. These are designed specifically for RVs. Now both blades are 32 inches in length. You're gonna wanna pick up two.
They're sold in a quantity of one. They're specifically designed for the curve of windshields on RVs and buses. And they're a heavy duty design to help deal with the high wind speeds you're gonna get on such a large windshield.So, what we've got here is a stronger, more durable frame. It's made of a solid metal, and it's slotted to help deal with that wind resistance. The blade has six pressure points to help keep good contact on that windshield.
Now that we've gone over some of the features, I'll go ahead and show you how to get these installed.On your Miramar, they are a J style windshield wiper blade which you might be familiar with from your everyday driver. So what you'll do is just pull it out. You wanna be careful not to let it snap back because it can crack the glass. To get your old ones off, there's just a tab here that you'll press in and you can slide back. It's gonna bow out a little bit, so you'll wanna tilt it like that, and you can just kind of finagle it out.
Now we're ready to install the new one.Your new one's got a protective coat over the blade. Don't need that. Angle out your connection. We'll come back to our J, and we'll get it in there like we did before. And then that's just gonna slide into place.
Once you hear it click, you've got it. We can then repeat the same process for our other side. With both our blades installed, that's gonna complete our look at the Clear Plus Heavy Duty Wiper Blades, for the 2015 Thor Miramar.
