Speaker 1: Today on our 2008 Subaru Legacy we're going to installing the Michelin Stealth Ultra Windshield Wiper Blades. 18-inch for the passenger side, part number MCH8518, and for 24-inch on the driver side, part number MCH8524. The Michelin Stealth Ultra is designed for rain, snow, and sleet. The hybrid design is going to hold up in all weather conditions. The SmartFlex suspension design is going allow it to have full contact on the windshield at all times. Eight pressure points push on the Graphite-coated blade to give it a clean streak-free wipe.
The drive and passenger blade share all of the same features. The driver side is going to cover three-quarters of the windshield and the passenger is going to cover the last quarter.Now that we've gone over the features, I'll go ahead and show you how to get them installed. We're going to be starting with the passenger side, so we're going to be doing the shortest one, and then we're going to be repeating the same process on the driver side. We'll set out new ones aside for now. Let's go ahead and remove the old one.
I'm going to lift up on the arm, then I'll rotate it to the horizontal position. I'm just going to push downward towards the arm like this until it slides out, then I'll rotate it out just like that. Then, we can grab our new wiper blade. It already comes packaged with the adaptor installed. I'm going to rotate it up like this, line it up with the arm, push out, and then pull outward until it snaps in place just like that.With it installed, we'll gently return it to the windshield.
With both of them installed, let's check it out. As you can see, we have a clean streak-free wipe. That's going to complete our installation of the Michelin Stealth Ultra Windshield Wiper Blades on our 2008 Subaru Legacy.
