Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Scrubblade Rear Windshield Wiper. So this is gonna be the 16 inch one, but it's also gonna come in 14, 12, 10, and 11. So it's user pick out on our website. It's gonna pair you up with the right one for your specific vehicle. With this one, it's gonna be an upgrade one. It's just gonna look a lot better and the powder-coated finish on this is gonna prevent all this rust from happening.
It does have a steel construction. So with that powder coat, you don't really have to worry about it looking like this after a couple of seasons. So what really sets this one apart is gonna be the blade one. It's a graphite-coated blade. So it's going to be super smooth and quiet.
So you're not gonna hear that squeak, squeak, squeak. Whenever you're trying to see a little bit better, but one thing, if you notice down on the blade here compared to our OEM one. It has a nice little pattern on it. So this is gonna be great for bugs and debris, especially with the back of my car, whenever I'm going down gravel roads and stuff, this thing just tends to be completely coated with like white dust. And it's just kind of gritty stuff.
So with the design on the blade, it's gonna really get rid of all that. And it's going to not wear away over time. So this is definitely gonna be an upgrade from whatever you have on your vehicle as of now. It does have a nice aerodynamic design, so if you do go through some of those automated car washes, you know, those big blowers at the very, very end. Sometimes you see these start to lift up and stuff, but with the design, they took that into account and it shouldn't do that at all.
And it isn't going to interfere with the fluid that comes through this little tube. So let me go up front and turn it on. So you guys can see that we're not really losing the functionality of that. Perfect, so we're not really losing that. It still does the job and everything's good to go. One thing I do like about this is it gives you a bunch of different adapters with it. And it's gonna make sure that you can find the perfect fit for your vehicle. And it really only took me, I don't know, maybe like a minute to do this. So it's a very, very quick and easy installation just to get so much more use and visibility out of your back window with the nice blade there. First things first, let's remove the old blade. As you can see on my car, it's about time to remove it. It's starting to rust away. So you definitely know that this actual blade part isn't gonna be good. So with every single one, it's gonna be a little bit different. But for this, you kind of just pull it out. There's gonna be a little tab there. We're gonna push this tab in like that and then push it towards the opening. Just like that. Once we get that undone, you kind of, wiggle your way out, just like this. And then just take a look-see at the little clip that's going in there. So we're gonna get about five different little clips with our new blade. So you just kind of, wanna match it up. They're not gonna look exactly the same, but just the way that it hooks is gonna kind of, help you do that. So you can kind of take these, maybe just feel them out down here. This one feels like it's definitely giving us a little bit of resistance. So that's definitely the right one. So go through the ones that we have, throw your other blade away. And then with this, we're gonna have two different slots. So there's gonna be a little clip on one side and then a little slot on the other. So you're gonna slide this in and push down, snaps into place. And then we can go ahead with the back up, fit it in the place, and then it should just snap just like that. And that's pretty much it. This is a good time to maybe go in and see if it works just before we call it quits. And it's working pretty good. So that's pretty much it for the install. It's a really simple and easy process. One, it's gonna look a lot better and two, it's gonna work a lot better too. It's definitely gonna be an upgrade from just the standard smooth OEM blades. And this is definitely gonna help a lot more than the old one that we just replaced. That's pretty much it for our look at the Scrubblade Rear Windshield Wiper..
