Light through your awning window can keep you awake, and at night or in public places, people can see straight inside. This custom-fit cover blocks both, with insulation that helps take the edge off heat or cold through the glass.
Your van's awning window is just a pane of glass. During the day that's fine, but when you want the interior dark or private, that glass can become a problem. Light passes straight through it, and from outside there's nothing blocking the view in. This cover mounts over the window and turns that exposed glass into a solid panel, so your bunk area isn't lit up and the inside isn't visible when you don't want it to be.
Window glass transfers heat quickly. When the sun's hitting your van or the temperature drops outside, that heat or cold moves straight through the glass. This cover adds an insulated layer over your window so less of that heat or cold comes through. It won't change the weather, but it helps make the bunk space less affected by it.
Small metal tabs stick to your window frame during the initial setup. Magnets sewn into the cover line up with those tabs, so when you press the cover against the window, it holds in place. Once the tabs are installed, putting the cover up or taking it down only takes a few seconds.

Now this is a window cover that's made specifically for the Van's Window Direct AW3310 crank out awning style camper van window. Think of it as a purpose built accessory that is gonna make the window more comfortable and practical to use, especially in a van build. This cover installs on the inside of the van and it's designed to fit the window perfectly.
Its main benefits, of course, are privacy, light blocking and insulation. So when this is in place, this is going to help keep the sunlight out during the day. It's gonna block, blocks outside visibility at night, and it's gonna give you a layer of insulation even that's gonna help with both heat and cold. So it's gonna keep the heat inside of your van. It's not gonna be easily leaking out the windows and keep the heat out.
As you can see, we do have a reflective side that you can put out to keep that sunlight at bay. It keeps the light from coming in and potentially adding warmth to the inside of your van. Then we just have a black side as well. So this cover does attach with magnetic mounts. This is magnetic and we do have these little magnets with 3M adhesive on the back that you can place around the frame of the window to have it easily stick into place.
