Video Transcript for Hands-On with the ClearPlus 78 Series HD Windshield Wiper Blade

Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at this ClearPlus 78 Series HD Windshield Wiper. It's a blade frame style, 32 inches. Now this all weather heavy duty wiper blade does ensure visibility in the rain, sleet, and snow. And it is made for curved windshields on newer class A RVs and also mid-size commercial trucks. So you can see it's gonna fit curved windshields.

And before I go any farther, I do wanna mention that this is made for a 1/2" to 5/8" wide saddle connection. So I'm gonna throw an image up here on the screen. If yours does not look like that on the connection point, this will not work. And again, 1/2" to 5/8" wide. Now getting into it, this wiper blade, again, is a very nice curved fitting.

This blue piece of plastic here, that's just the protective sheeting. You can simply slide that off whenever you install it. I'm gonna keep it on so we keep the blade protect it, but I wanna show you the nice blade here. You can see it's got a lot of movement and pivoting. It's a natural rubber squeegee with a molybdenum coating that ensures quiet, chatter free operation.

Now it is a nice black powder coated steel frame and it's got stainless steel flexor pivot pins and rivets. They're gonna provide nice durability and strength. You also get the attachment clip here and the stainless steel hardware as well. So whichever one you need to use on yours, use the one that fits. Follow the instructions that come with it as well.

Now it does fit again up to 32 inch long. That's the size of it. And it has multiple pressure points that conform to the windshield itself. So all these different pressure points here, whenever it's installed, they're gonna help hold that curve and form fit it to the windshield. It's a very quick, easy installation on most arms and it does meet and exceed all SAE safety and durability standards. Now it also is a direct replacement for the Trico 67-321 and the ANCO 50-32.
