Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at the Sylvania XtraVision Round H5006XV Sealed Beam Halogen Headlight. Now, this is going to replace your standard equipment halogen headlight with the same grade and specifications, and as I mentioned, this bulb type is H5006, the base is A-3, and the reflector is PAR46. So, that parabolic reflector shape is going to give you a longer beam and a defined edge at a distance with greater contrast. The 3,200 kelvin color temperature is going to give you a pure, more neutral white color than the 2,700 to 3,100 kelvin options. This light has a rated average life of about 320 hours, and your harness is going to plug into the back of this light.
You're just going to line up those three blades there that you see there on the back. And just to give you the further confidence that this light is going to be just what you need, let me give you the measurement of the diameter first. So, as you can see, we're almost six inches. This is about 5 11/16 inches in diameter, but rounded up, that's gonna be right at six inches in diameter. The depth here might be a little bit tricky.
I'm gonna try to measure here from the absolute front of the light to the back. So, as you can see there, trying to line that up there so you can see. The overall depth is about four inches from end to end. Now, this light is legal for on-road use. It does meet the Department of Transportation regulations for performance and life.
And as you no doubt know, it is recommended to replace your bulbs on both sides of your vehicle at the same time, just so you maintain that consistent light level and color. Well, that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.
