Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Sylvania 9007SL LED Foglights or possibly Powersport Headlight Bulbs. Now folks, these are a high efficient 10 to 13 watt LED bulb for, again, either your fog light or your power sport headlights. They're not made for onroad. They're strictly off-road use only. So again, off-road use only.
Check your local regs in your state or your area to be sure you're compliant with all the rules and regulations. It's a nice bright 6000 Kelvin Cool-Lite light. The aluminum body here has a built in fan that's a 10,000 RPM fan. It's gonna drive away heat and give you max longevity, so it's a nice heat sink. As you can see, that heat sink shoots about an inch back from your standard OE bulb length.
So make sure you have enough clearance in your bulb housing, or your light housing rather, for these bulbs. And then obviously they just plug in to where your old bulb plugged into. Now we highly recommend you change both sides at the same time, just so you have consistent light and color on both sides whenever you're driving or when people are coming at you or whatnot. Now, I recommend also maybe wear some gloves whenever you're touching the bulbs themselves or the housings rather, that way you don't get grease and oil from your fingers on the housing, which could potentially decrease the lifespan of 'em.
