Today we are going to look at the Pacer Performance Amber High Five Cabru lights. This is the Chevrolet GMC style lights and this is for five pieces. This is a clearance cab light, that will give your truck a big red look. Makes it more visible on the road, and these are styled after the 1988, 2002 Chevy GMC factory roof lights. the set includes the five clearance lights. They do have the amber lenses that cover clear incodecent bulbs and the bulbs are a style 194 bulb and they are replaceable. The rubber base, the black rubber base is designed to conform and seal the flat arc curved surfaces. Those come with the toggle switch.
Makes it very easy to control the lights from inside your cab. It is a very simple installation on the roof of your truck. Comes with the fused wiring for the toggle switch. Comes with some quick splice connectors. Some hardware and it comes with all the bulbs and the wiring for each individual light. They area universal fit.
They do meet the SAE specifications. Just to give you an idea of the size on one of the lights. The overall length is going to be about six inches in length. The overall width at the widest point is about three inches and the overall height at the widest point is going to be about one and a half inches tall. What I am going to do right now, and it does come with a nice set of detailed instructions to describe how to install them. What I am going to do right now is, when you get these you will also notice the ball and the base is out of here, so all you have to do is put it in and run the wires.
There is two holes who run the wires. You got two wires. The red is for your power and the black is for your ground and has a little eyelet on it. Normally what you can do is put that right where the srew is. When you put the mounting screw in and it would ground it.
What I am going to do now, is we are going to hook it up. I got a 12 volt power supply here. We will go ahead and hook it up, just to give you an idea of what the cab light would look like. We will go ahead and put the ground on there. With it all hooked up, we will go ahead and put the lens over, just to give you an idea. I will go ahead and turn off the overhead lights and then I will go ahead and turn on the 12 volt power, and you can see it lights up the bulb just enough to give you a nice clearance roof light to put on the cab of your truck. Again, your toggle switch, you can wire it in to turn it off and on from inside your cab. I'm going to turn that off and turn the lights back on. Disconnect the 12 volt power. That should do it for the review of the Pacer Performance Amber high Five Cab Roof lights. It is the Chevrolet GMC style lights and it is a total of five pieces.
