Hello neighbor. Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our 9007SU, our SilverStar ultra halogen headlight bulb set. So you're gonna get quantity two. They're a direct OEM replacement, but they're a nice, brighter, broader light distribution with a longer range and also faster recognition of objects ahead. They're gonna replace your 65 or 55 watt halogen bulbs with these high-performance.
And the plug goes in the back, and all the clips and everything would line up with the clips in your headlight assembly. But make sure you refer to your owner's manual to get them installed correctly for your specific fit. Now these do give you a nice 4,100 Kelvin color temperature. That just means it's whiter than pretty much any other halogen bulb out in the market. And it's recommended to replace bulbs on both sides of your headlights, meaning left and right-hand assembly.
That way you can get the consistent light levels and colors on both sides of your headlights. That way when people are coming at you at night, it looks the same, and just when you're driving, it's more consistent. These do meet all DOT regulations for performance and life, and as you can see, they got a watertight seal, that white O-ring there. Now, never touch the glass or the metal parts with your fingers as that can deteriorate, potentially make the bulb not last as long and those kind of things. So wear a pair of gloves whenever you're installing these, or maybe even a clean shop towel or something of that nature.
And that will wrap it up for our quick look today, folks. I'm Steven. Thanks so much for your time. Thanks for watching. I hope it's been enlightening for you.
