Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at the Sylvania. 7440 white LED ZEVO reverse and accessory light bulbs. These high efficient LED bulbs are designed for use in interior and exterior accessory lighting or reverse lights with a white lens. Now these LED bulbs can be a great upgrade or replacement option for you, but you do wanna be sure that you check your state regulations to make sure that these are legal for you to use.
Now the bulb type, as I mentioned, is 7440 and the base number is provided for you at the bottom of that graphic. And these feature a bright 6,000 kelvin cool white light output. These are an excellent light source with brightness and clarity. The dual sided LEDs and base are going to eliminate any polarity issues. And these are designed for longevity with heat management and shock protection.
And they're gonna be an easy installation to a standard socket. As you notice I am wearing gloves. It is a good idea to wear gloves, or at least use a clean shop towel, to help reduce the transfer of oils from your fingers to the LEDs during installation. Now, some vehicles may require the use of load resistors when upgrading. Resistors prevent that hyperflash and they prevent error codes as well.
So if you find out, while upgrading these LEDs, that you are also in need of those resistors on your screen, I am including our part number for those resistors from Sylvania. You can just take that part number, pop it into the search field of our website and that will take you to those resistors and you can add those to your order. It's also recommended that you replace the bulbs on both sides of your vehicle at the same time to maintain that consistent light level and color.
