Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. Raw lumens represent the number of lumens that the manufacturer claims the LEDs are capable of producing. It does not include the light's drive method or the amount of light lost from the lens or reflector. Effective lumens take these factors into account and represent the number of lumens that are actually produced by the complete light assembly, not just the amount of light that the diodes are capable of producing. Stable lumens builds off the idea of effective lumens by measuring the amount of light produced after 30 minutes of usage, or once the diodes have reached their average operating temperature. These bulbs have a 645 raw lumen capacity per bulb and produce 600 effective lumens per bulb. The stable lumen capacity per bulb is 487 lumens.

Ellen: Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're going to be taking a quick look at the Arc LED Lights. These are a replacement for any incandescent bulb that uses that wedge style with the 7440 or 7443 style. So you can use these for backup lights, really any internal or interior light in a vehicle. Maybe you have a fixture in an RV or something else that uses one of these lights, this is a great way to upgrade those lamps to LEDs without having to worry about changing out the bulbs anytime soon, LEDs typically last a lot longer. They also are more energy efficient, so they shouldn't take as much power to give you the same or even more light than you had before with those incandescents. So we'll take a closer look and make sure that these are the right fit for you.I'm going to hook them up to power and ground so you can see just how bright they are and make sure again that they're the right style.
So this is our little guy. You do get a pair of these, and it just has that wedge style base, again, that goes into the 7440 or 7443 style fixture. The LEDs are automotive grade LED chips, so it should be similar to an OEM bulb and really shouldn't have any fitment issues. It's a pretty compact design, it might be a little bit bulkier right here, but most of the time it should fit into that same space, unless it's a really tight fit. But like I said, you can hook this up to power so you can see just how bright these little guys are.
It is reversed polarity protected, so you don't have to worry about putting it in the wrong way and blowing your bulb. It will work just fine, whichever way you put it into the socket. So I'll turn this on, it's going to be bright and we might need to adjust, there we go. Just had my clamps not all the way on there. So a nice bright light, it emits light all the way around or 360 degrees around that bulb, if we turn the lights out in the studio you can see just how bright that is. It also does have a direction to it.
So as you can see, it's throwing the light much more in this direction, away from that bulb, so works out really well for all kinds of applications. Give you a little wider view so you can see how much it's illuminating my studio. And this is the only light on, this is all where we're really dealing with here and it's still very bright, pretty nice, cool white light, so great for all kinds of uses. We'll bring it back in and we can talk about the specs a little bit more with this light. As far as the light output, it's rated for raw lumens at 645, although the really important number to pay attention to is the effective lumen output. That's more of the actual real world output that you'll get from this light.
Raw lumens is in a perfect world with all perfect conditions and perfect manufacturing and no defects, it would give you that max amount of light, but more than likely, you're going to get about 600 lumens, still a pretty nice bright light. It does dim after 30 minutes of continued usage to about 487. So if you've got it on the whole time, it will drop down. So if you're, again, using this for headlight beams, you might notice a little bit of a drop in that light output. There are a total of 23 diodes in each bulb. Again, you do get two of these. The color temperature is 5,500 Kelvin, so that's that cool white color or pure white color. The wattage per bulb is 6.5 watts power draw, a 12 volts is 0.65 amps and the voltage goes between 9 and 16 volts DC.It does have an IP 67 rating, so that means it's impervious to dust and pretty much waterproof as well. That 7 means that these are pretty much submersible, not that you'd want to, but you could. And that's pretty much all there is to it for our look at the LED bulbs from Arc. All in all I think these are a really great addition to your vehicle. If you're using them for any light housing or fixture, it should last you a long time. They do have that aluminum housing, so they're really durable and should keep you going and keep you illuminated for many years to come. Well I hope this video has been helpful in deciding if these are the right bulbs for you. We do have a lot of other options available here at etrailer.com, along with all kinds of other stuff, so check us out. Thanks for watching.

Perfect and easy upgrade for my John Deere E100 headlights.

Fit into the old Peterson PM 306-25A socket perfectly, replacing a 2057 incandescent bulb that was there previously (both of the light fixture's dual filaments are wired together to act in tandem, and only as a turn signal - go figure - but perhaps to be marginally brighter together). LED bulb is much brighter, and I'll assume lower current draw (did not actually measure this). "Garage test" worked fine, we'll know how they take to moisture and vibration in a few months. It should be noted that despite LED bulbs's reputation for being "directional", this bulb lit up rearward AND to the side satisfactorily. Cannot comment if the difference in brightness between the two "filaments" offers sufficient differentiation between low and high setting in actual use, as mine light up simultaneously, as wired.

The brightness between tail light mode and brake light mode is not enough to be a very good LED replacement.

Didn’t fit. Bulb to big for a 194 bulb
Review from a similar Eco Series in Tail Lights
Planned to use these in a surface mount license plate light fixture. Much longer and thicker at the light end than the existing 193 bulb - it was obvious this one would not fit due to clearance issues. Not worth the time/effort/shipping cost to return for refund, so will hang onto them for potential future applications.

I wanted to replace the old bulbs in my trailer but everywhere I looked they were going to cost me $xx or more per pair. I found etrailer while looking on line for trailer parts and was very surprised how affordable the bulbs were. I ordered all the bulbs in the trailer for less than half the cost I was expecting. They arrived yesterday and I put them in. Wow, what a difference. Way better light output, much less battery power being used. All for a fraction of the cost. And the quality of the bulbs was all I had hoped it would be. I was talking to one of my neighbors about your web site and it turns out he has been an etrailer.com customer for a while. Thank you for what you do.

On 18 October 2021, I purchased 2 packs of model 1157 LED bulbs (ARC93FR). As soon as they arrived, I replaced the existing incandescent brake/turn signal bulbs on my Coachmen travel trailer with these LED bulbs. When I hooked up the travel trailer to my truck and turned on the lights, the improvement was quite noticeable. The ARC93FR LEDs were much brighter – even in the afternoon sunlight. Quite pleased. Money well spent. Another great product from etrailer.com.

These are surprisingly bright and a great upgrade to an RV that came with the old incandescent bulbs. I'm going to order more after using the RV and will probably try the 320 lumens style next time.

This LED replacement completely changed the lighting in my RV for the better. I put them in the main living area and work area and you no longer feel like you are living by flashlight. The only drawback to the replacement bulb is it is slightly wider than glass bulbs and it takes significantly more pressure to insert them. However, they will go in without breaking the fixture. The picture shows the clear difference with both type bulbs in a single fixture.

You advertise the bulbs as having 600 lumens. The manufacturers packaging states 450 lumens. The bulbs are 75% brighter than what they are replacing, so I am satisfied with the purchase, but you should correct the information on your web site. Otherwise a great transaction.

May be a good product but did not work correctly for our vehicle.

These are great bulbs that produce a very white bright light. I would guess they produce twice the light as a normal incandescent bulb.

I have been having great difficulty finding a short, high lumen, wedge base LED bulb to fit our RV ceiling light fixtures (which have 2 bulbs in one compartment). These have worked... although I wish they were 1000 lumen.
