Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at this beautiful RC Manufacturing M series underbody toolbox. Now, this whole toolbox is a nice lightweight aluminum construction, 13 and a half cubic foot of space. I wanna start off with giving you the length. I measured this earlier, and I got 72 inches long or six foot.

I got 18 inches deep from the back all the way to the front side of the door, and I got 18 inches tall to the very top on the base. Now folks, again, this is gonna be a great toolbox. It's gonna mount to the underbody of your truck or trailer and provide you nice secure storage space for cargo, tools, anything you need. Now they do have a double swing down door style. You simply open the handle, twist it, and you can drop it.

Now you do it on both sides. I'll show that here in a second. First thing I wanna note is you have these retainer chain keeps, and they will keep the door at a perfect 90 degree, and you can move them to the second slot, or up here, you can pull it up, tighten that chain more, and let it only go so far to fit your particular needs. As you can see, I was able to fit some breakfast in there, and over here on this side, I was able to fit a full set of drill, closed drills over here. Now you got a nice gasket around both sides.

That's an automated grade bulb seal, and that's gonna protect all your gear from whatever mother nature throws your way, road spray, rocks, debris, all that kind of stuff. And once again, nice aluminum construction. Now again, you're gonna put this on your flatbed, dump trucks, trailers, whatever you need. The total weight empty, like you see here today, is 90 pounds. And I wanna go ahead and give you a closeup of these lock mechanisms.

You're gonna get a set of four keys total, two for each side. They are keyed alike. And again, you would simply open it, rotate it, and then that would allow it to open fully. And obviously, if you lock it, it's not gonna open at that point. So very nice. And as you can also see, you have a very nice polished finish on this aluminum, so you can clearly see the reflection of everything. Very nice. I'm really impressed with that. And everything here is gonna just be nice and rigid, corrosion resistant, and it's gonna hold lots and lots of gear, but also keep everything secure and locked up for you. On the bottom of the doors, you have a piano style hinge, very, very heavy duty. All the doors and everything have creased, so that just gives it more rigility as well.
