Upgrade your trailer's braking system with these integral disc brake conversion kits for two wheel ends. It includes the major braking and hub components needed for installation, including bearings, hardware, lug nuts, and threaded caps.
If your trailer's current brakes are no longer delivering the stopping performance you want, this kit provides the major mechanical components needed to convert one 7,000-lb trailer axle to hydraulic disc brakes. It includes integral MAXX-coated hub and rotor assemblies, stainless steel calipers, caliper brackets, bearings, grease seals, threaded caps, lug nuts, and installation hardware for both wheel ends, giving you matched axle components instead of sourcing the parts individually. Complete the conversion with a compatible hydraulic brake actuator, brake lines, and other required hydraulic brake components (sold separately).
Building a hydraulic disc brake system one component at a time can lead to unnecessary parts matching and compatibility questions. This kit brings together the major mechanical components for both wheel ends, with the hub and rotor assemblies, calipers, bearings, seals, threaded caps, lug nuts, and installation hardware already matched to work together. It's a practical approach that simplifies the mechanical side of the conversion once your trailer's specifications have been confirmed.
Brake components spend their lives exposed beneath your trailer, making corrosion a constant concern after a brake upgrade. The integral hub and rotor assemblies use MAXX coating while the calipers are constructed from stainless steel, helping protect the major brake components from weather and road exposure. Your trailer stays equipped with corrosion-resistant brake components that are ready for the next tow.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this DeeMaxx Maxx Coat disc brake kit. Now, you're going to be able to get this as either a set of one, as I have here on my table, or a set of two. So whichever quantity is going to work best for you, just take the appropriate part number that you see there on your screen, pop it in the search field of our website. That will take you to the quantity that you need and you can add that to your order.
Now, if you're looking to upgrade your trailer's braking performance, this hydraulic disc brake conversion kit is going to give you what you need to convert a trailer wheel end on your 7,000-pound trailer axle from your existing setup to hydraulic disc brakes. Now, this does include a Maxx-coated integral hub and rotor assembly that's going to resist corrosion for long-lasting durability. If you notice here, the hat of our hub here has drain holes to prevent water from just sitting in there, prevent to possibly cause corrosion. And then it's also vented here along the outside perimeter. So this is going to run significantly cooler than others as well.
Then we also have our caliper here. And if you notice here, this does come with brake pads and I have a rubber isolator in there just to keep them in there and separate so you have a clear view of that. So this is going to be ideal for boat trailers, year-round towing, and anyone who frequently exposes their trailer to water, road salt or harsh weather because they're going to help resist corrosion and extend the life of your braking system. This is going to make insulation quite a bit easier because you're going to get the bearings, the lug nuts, the mounting hardware, the mounting bracket here as well. And that's also has the coating on it.
So everything that you see here is going to be included. If you notice our bolt pattern is 8 on 6 1/2 inches and the bearing information and if you're looking for any other information that I didn't cover with you during our time together, you can find that info on this product page. So again, if you need just this one set or set of two, just take the appropriate part number that you see there. And if you think you might want some help with the installation, we can help you with that as well. On this product page typically found underneath the photo section, we have a link that will take you to our installer locator.
Click that link, answer the questions that it has for you and that locator will find an installer in your area that etrailer has partnered with to help you with the install. Well again, my name's Andy, thank you for joining me.

Thanks for sharing that, that’s a really important detail to call out. On setups like this, the included studs are typically sized for standard steel wheels, so when switching over to thicker aluminum wheels, it can definitely lead to needing longer studs like you ran into. I can see how that would be a frustrating surprise in the middle of an install. Glad you caught it and are getting it sorted out. Once everything is buttoned up, we’d be interested to hear how the full setup performs for you. What kind of trailer are you running these on?
