Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Maxtraxs MK2 Recovery Boards in the pink color, and this is for a quantity of two boards. Now, these recovery boards will provide traction when your tires are bogged down in snow, sand, or mud. Uses these rows of traction teeth on the top here, which will provide a surface that your tires can grip onto, to help pull your vehicle out of a messy situation. And on the bottom, it has these lugs right here that'll bite into the ground to give you a surefooted grip.
Give you a few dimensions, the length on one of these is 45 inches long. The width, 13 inches wide. And the overall height from the bottom to the top of the teeth is about two and five eights inches tall. The weight on this is about seven and a half pounds per board. Now I do wanna zoom in to talk about some features on this.
They use a fiber reinforced nylon construction, so it makes these boards lightweight and strong. And the material's a UV stable material which won't fade or degrade in the sun. They are light enough to easily haul in and out of your vehicle, but they are heavy enough to bear the full weight of your vehicle without breaking. Also, what's neat is if I flip this over on the bottom, flip it and try to, you might be able to see, maybe not, but it'll say on the end "shovel," and the arrow points to the end here. Basically, each end, either end you can use, the ends as a shovel if you need be, if you need to shovel stuff out of the way, you can use the board to do that.
They do have these neat, nice built in glove-friendly handles you can see. And then it comes with these included leashes that you can easily attach to those handles to help pull the boards out of the sludge after use. The key holes, there's two on this end, two on the other end. They are designed, they're on both sides. They allow you to mount these boards to your vehicle using the Maxtracks Mounting Pins or the Rear Wheel Harness.
Those items we do sell separately on our website. Just uses those key holes to attach it to your vehicle. This is a pink color. These are also available in many other colors, and this is for a quantity of two recovery boards. But that should do it for the review on the Maxtracks MK2 Recovery Boards in the pink color.
